People You Know
So, when it comes to friends and family, one should only play password protected games with them. But what about people I am meeting at face to face games in clubs in my state? What about if I start getting involved in the tournament scene? How do the more experienced players on here handle it? At what point does it become inappropriate to play in public games with people you have met through the game?

I've been contributing to my 401(k) for a few years but haven't spent a ton of time researching which funds to own. Also, I'm sick of political talk, so I thought I'd see what people suggest.

Question.
Just curious no real reason for asking but I thought mods were suppose to notify you why they locked your threads? I mean how can people learn what they did wrong (if anything) if they don't tell us?

So should a player be allowed to go in the back catalogue and get threads locked out of spite? just wondering no reason. I mean it's just when that starts happening doesn't the forum start to look like a warzone?

Question
in a recent poll 7% of Americans value the continuity of government by supporting Gary Johnson for president. The other 93%? well they are split between a Guinea pig mounted atop a racist cantaloupe; and a half robot, half human she-devil.

Lol, Johnson is such a terrible candidate. You're better off voting McMullin.
Not quite sure whether it will be Johnson, Stein, or McMullin. I am certain of two candidates that have no chance of getting my vote though.

I can't really see how Clinton supporters could be seen as not valuing the continuity of government. Trumps supporters don't seem to value it, but that seems like it was the whole point all along.

Johnson is a Republican, thinks federal healthcare is "insane" and that the environment is worth throwing to the wind, i.e. big money corporate institutions. McMullin is a Republican, has absolutely zero chance of winning unless you live in Utah, in which case, he could according to some 538 article I saw win the electorate there and vault himself to the White House, by way of the House. Stein is about as far left as it gets in this country, doesn't really get what science is, and still preaches environmentalism without actually understanding how the environment works and how to protect it. No great options.
In all seriousness, it looks to me as if Clinton will take this one hands down. With so many republicans jumping ship, I can't see it going any other way.

See this is the problem. The 3rd party candidate people would actually vote for is Bernie Sanders. Or if Trump had been ousted by his party itd be him.
"No great options."

A label that aptly describes the plight of American voters this presidential election.

In a battle of Cruz (R), Hillary (D), Trump (I), and Bernie (I) youd be scratching your head trying to figure out who would win.
I would have considered voting for Bernie if he had gone independent, not Trump under any circumstances though. Rubio was a decent candidate as well.
Yeah, that's true. I would definitely vote Sanders on that line up though.

Ah yes, nothing says "I value the continuity of government" like voting for the libertarian.
We did kind of drop the ball by not agreeing on what "continuity of government" might mean. It could just be basically reduced to SNAFU.
brainbomb (295 D)

It sounded like he was implying that by not voting libertarian we were comfortable with steering our country off a cliff.

In a recent gallup poll, surveys discovered voters are apathetic about the upcoming elections. "I dont think we ever imagined it would come down to Jar Jar or Emperor Palpatine as our only options".

Ohio State is a solid lock to get upset today
Vegas has them as +10 favorites vs Wisconsin in Madison. Ohio State hasnt played anyone worth a crap yet. I look for a low scoring game, Wisconsin wins 17-13.
