People You Know
So, when it comes to friends and family, one should only play password protected games with them. But what about people I am meeting at face to face games in clubs in my state? What about if I start getting involved in the tournament scene? How do the more experienced players on here handle it? At what point does it become inappropriate to play in public games with people you have met through the game?

Is Trump mentally ill?
After Trump's call that Clinton used performance enhancing drugs during the last debate:

Randomizer (722 D)

Is it possible that Trump's behavior is a sign of an undiagnosed mental illness? There have been people saying that Trump is deliberately throwing the election to Clinton, but maybe there is something else going on here.

Wasnt there a theory trump was sniffing so much during Debate 2.0 because he did a bunch of cocaine before the debate to stay sharp?
brainbomb (295 D)

he paced around, at first seemed almost catatonic and sniffled alot. literally looked like a guy who had done an 8 ball

Methinks that using mental illness as an avenue of attack is an unnecessary low blow in an election campaign that has already had more than its fair share of lows.
JamesYanik (548 D)

he has no self control, he has some definite narcissism, and he has a inferiority complex

but none of that would qualify as mental illness

I dont see any reason why Trump is "mentally" incapable of leading the country. I just personally dont think his policies will work.

I caught pneumonia a few weeks before Hillary (allegedly) did. I missed two weeks of work, spent the two weeks after that sleeping 12 hours a day, and I'm still not feeling 100% three months later.

No way is a nearly 70 year old woman bouncing back from pneumonia like that while in the middle of a presidential campaign, likely working 18+ hours a day. Gotta be some really good drugs involved, or she had something other than pneumonia going on.
brainbomb (295 D)

you know whats great about drinking hard cider? theres no foam. No fUCKIN FOAM
This is just a ploy to get people talking about Clinton's health again. Trump knows that:
1. Clinton isn't going to agree to a drug test (as it doesn't benefit her at all), and her people running the debates aren't going to force a drug test on her, either;
2. Even if she did submit to a drug test and were taking something that would get her in trouble with the law or the court of public opinion, it would be pretty easy for her to pull a few minor strings and end up with a fabricated clean result.

And Octavious is right. Don't you guys ever get bored of the personal attacks on somebody that's never wronged you? It's no wonder why public political discourse is so toxic these days.

Here's the thing. American politics has gone so far downhill this election that its joke. no matter who we elect in 4 years well hear the outcome.

The walking rapist pumpkin of new york wins: clinton supporters say "see now look the country is spiraling further into debt and its all his fault."

The pre-programmed robot of political discourse wins: trump supporters say *insert something unintelligible and misogynistic* lets just go with "Teeruump dat betch!"

the only real win here is if Gary Johnson wins. because both Clinton and Trump supporters heads would explode. at least then the US math and reading competency rates would go up (ya know since all those trump supporters are gone.)

Whoa it's Eden Hi Eden #fuckPE
Gary Johnson isn't going to win the presidency.

And you can't really think that the outcome of a Clinton presidency and a Trump presidency would be the same. Clinton is the embodiment of the US political establishment, Trump has never been in office before. If their presidencies were going to be more or less the same, you wouldn't see such one-sided coverage from establishment media of the election. They wouldn't have a compelling reason to favor one candidate over another.

You wonder if Trump is mentally ill... I wonder how it is possible that the majority of the population in Idaho, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Alabama, Virginia, ... see him as the one who must be next President of the United States :
* http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/2016_elections_electoral_college_map.html

And if you scroll down here and see what would happens if only men would vote : http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/election-update-women-are-defeating-donald-trump/ what should we conclude ?

@PE, this election no matter the outcome has likely fractured the Republican Party for sure and possibly the dems as well. I have no issues with third party candidates, but until now, their likely hood was at best improbable. In the future more likely so

Both his discussion and his responses to challenges are consistent with being somewhere on the high end of the narcissism spectrum (everyone is on it somewhere, but not all that high). A lot of self-aggrandizement, denigration of everyone else, "only I can save you!" and an extreme fragility and disproportionate hostility to criticism.

Of course, actual diagnosis would take a lot of work from a real psychologist. Maybe is where I say "maybe he is a narcissist. Some people think so. I don't know."

Trump is an egotistical narcissist, with delusions of grandeur. What do you expect? He can't stand the cross examination, it's fracturing him. He's never had to deal with fact checkers and people calling his bluff. That shit doesn't happen in his board room. On the public stage, is a different story. He's not mentally ill though. Don't give him an out

Trump can't stand any heat whatsoever. He's gotten everything he wants for his entire life, which inherently makes him crazy detached from the lives of normal people. His entire being is centered around cultivating a public image, and the fact that he's being publicly humiliated on a scale he's never before confronted -- by a woman, no less -- is causing him to crack up on the global stage. He's getting more insane every day at this point. I'm honestly worried about his mental health... Not because I care for the man, but because he still has a lot of radicalized followers listening to him.

Being so rich you're famous isn't the same as being a public figure.

You are just wrong. He hosted a very public and highly successful television show. He has been in the press and the public sphere since the 1980s at a minimum.
krellin (80 DX)

"he has no self control, he has some definite narcissism, and he has a inferiority complex"

lol doesn't that equally apply to Clinton?
* No self-control -- never met a subject she wasn't capable, and COMELLED, to lie about
* narcissism -- Uh, be definition, anyone that seeks the most powerful office in the world is a narcissist.
* Inferiority complex -- Hillary clinton, though achieving great success in many facets of life, still views herself as inferior because of her gender, and frequently imagines that attacks on her policy and "achievement" are in fact gender-based insults, rather than true criticism of her experience. this woman *clearly* has an inferiority complex.
TrPrado (461 D)

"He hosted a very public and highly successful television show."
My point goes unrefuted. Being a celebrity doesn't qualify someone as a public figure.
TrPrado (461 D)
17 Oct 16 UTC
By your argument, 10 years ago when he "privately discussed" sexually assaulting women he was a public figure and would face the proper scrutiny as such. But you've argued against scrutinizing him as such.
