Sarg; I'm not a great diplomacy player, you obviously have been doin this for a while, I just started playing recently, I don't believe I can become a Master that fast. But I do know that I can try the best I can to be the best I can be. See where we go from there.

peterwiggins/spyman: I've played them both. Ivo countless times throughout our (almost 3!!) years on the site, and Babs and I were in a league together.
Two completely different styles (Babs is cold, calculated, dominating. Ivo is loyal, friendly, dominating). Both easily in the top 5 or 10 on the site.
I can remember being stabbed by both of them. I believe I told Babs that he was a cold, slimy bastard (which, in diplomacy, is a high compliment!), and I explicitly remember Ivo telling me he was going to stab me, and there wasn't a damn thing I could do about it. He had the right time and moment, and I was done for (I do think I made it to a draw in that game, but it wasn't easy, and I was Ivo's stoolie the rest of the game).

I can't remember having much success besting Ivo. I know I've hurt Babs, though I'm not sure I've ever eliminated him. I can also say the Crazyter, even in anon games, has a way of pretty much kicking my ass off the damn map EVERY GAME WE PLAY. So my top 5 would include (no particular order): Babs, Crazy, Marx, Ivo... for the 5th? Geez, that's a toughy... cgwhite was pretty unstoppable back in the day, but is too busy to really play much, anymore.... the master gamer was also impressive. BigZombieDude and TheWizard both had me by the cahonies last league as well as Crazy.......
anyway, I'm rambling... the real reason I came to this thread was to ask......


So when are we getting this game going? This week? Next week? Where the hell did March go?
