Which Do You Prefer- The One Almighty Hero or the Great Multitude?
Watching an interesting thing on LOTR... and someone made the point that THEY think that the Great Many (The Fellowship, and then in other examples Star Trek's Enterprise Crew, King Arthur's Court, Robin Hood and His Merry Men) is a better heroic idea than the Almighty One (Hercules, Jesus, Superman.) Which is better in YOUR opinion?

Brazil, Brasil, and the Federative Republic.
I've noticed on other threads that a few people insist that Brazil is called Brasil, but I'm not sure what the fuss is about.

Draw Etiquette
What is the proper etiquette concerning agreeing to a draw when you're coming up to a probable stalemate line. Are you expected to draw immediately upon reaching it? Should you agree to a draw even though you're not at the draw line yet but have little to no chance of breaking through? Is it bad manners to wait until the line is locked in and immobile?

Like in all things in Diplo, I'd imagine it's a negotiation...

Probable stalemate ain't a stalemate. If you both agree before hand, great. But anything can happen prior to hitting a stalemate. Once you hit it, and assuming you recognize it as such, a draw is expected, IMO.

Definitely draw, always, no matter what. Anything else can only be wrong ; )

Depends. If it looks like you might win and you're playing against me, then yes, draw immediately. Otherwise, it's all negotiation. If you think you can do it, then try. If it turns out you can't, then draw. But you're allowed to at least try. Just don't turn the game into an endurance test, waiting for the other person to miss a movie order. Of course, anything with three or more players is open to stab-potential...

Not only can you choose to not draw, you can back some units up, even give some centers away, to encourage the others to fight amongst themselves before stabbing your new ally for the win.

But if the other side is stubborn and not turning on each other and also are not making any mistakes, then don't be a poor sport and drag things out hoping someone will miss moves.
I refuse you to believe that you are smart enough to recognize and defend a stalemate line, until you prove otherwise. No offense.

Always play till the end, once the end (stalemate lines in this case) is reached, draw right away.

I was in a game where there were 3 of us left. The leader had 16 supply centers, I had most of the rest and the third player had 5. (We were all allied at some point in the game). We agreed to play a couple of turns as quickly as possible to see if he could win. After a couple of turns I managed to hold him off, so we agreed to a draw. That was a very enjoyable game.
