Diplomacy Rules of Fairness

i know they are not written in stone but what are the rules of etituquate(spelling?) of diplomacy. i was just recently in a game which i was winning and asked for a pause and they did not making me lose and go CD (yes i am bitter) should they of paused?

Scoring Issues

I noticed that even if a player loses all of his SC's on the same turn somebody wins, it's counted as a "survive" as long as he has a unit left, because the game doesn't recognize him as being eliminated until after the unit adjustment phase.

This seems wrong to me. Shouldn't a player who has zero SC's after an autumn phase - even if that phase ends the game - be "defeated"?

World Cup Diplomacy - Netherlands team

Landgenoten!

Een 'World Cup of Diplomacy' zou toch geen echt tournament zijn zonder een Nederlands team...? Meld je hier!

Al weer een aardige tijd geleden stelde ik voor een Nederlands spel te spelen. Toen bleek dat er wel enige Nederlands(sprekenden) aanwezig waren maar helaas niet genoeg om zeven man bij elkaar te krijgen. Nu hebben we een team nodig van vier spelers, bij voorkeur afkomstig uit de Benelux.

Het tournament begint waarschijnlijk eind januari. Ontwikkelingen kun je volgen in dit topic: http://www.webdiplomacy.net/forum.php?viewthread=512312#512312

Voor één team hebben we dus vier mensen nodig:

2 voor normale Diplomacy
1 voor een Wilson game
1 voor twee gunboat spellen

OK nice. Kennen jullie elkaar toevallig? Met Gobo erbij kunnen we een team starten met Raptura als vervanger. Als jullie me een mailadres sturen via PM kunnen we overleggen via de mail; dat lijkt me net iets makkelijker.

Trouwens, @ Gobo: denk je genoeg punten te hebben voor het tournament start? We dienen allemaal punten te bewaren (waarsch. 5

per spel). Houd er dus rekening mee. :)

@Ursa, dat was een spel met wat vrienden van Hamish en mij, allemaal nederlanders. We hadden een vervolg gepland, maar kwam niet echt van de grond helaas.

@ Raptura: we kunnen ons nu in principe gewoon opgeven als team. Dan hebben we Ursa, Hamish, Raptura, Salmaneser en Gobo als vervanger.

Mijn vraag is nu even of jullie een emailadres kunnen PM'en zodat we via de mail kunnen overleggen.
