When are we going to focus on how these anti-muslim terrorists get radicalized? When are we going after their networks? We blew up Anwar Al Awlaki for posting a lot of radicalizing messaging. Are we going to have drone strikes on Fox News and Breitbart now?

We have the police powers to shut down radicalisers like fox or brietbart without drone strikes, we should similarily shutdown the drone strike program everywhere else in the world.

I'm begining to think of drones more and more as war crimes. And the US should sign up to the treaty banning war crimes.

If you understand racialisation as a tool for protecting state power (in order to attack percieved threats to that power), then the only thing we can do to end it is to end the state which see muslims as a threat.

Remove racists from power. Thry have a sickness, and should be pitied. We shouldn't shun or hide away our racist friends and family, we should help them. Hiding them away and shunning them only lets the sickness grow in the darkness - and that is the last thing we want.

But we need to end this 'war on islam', to end to unjust actions of a few imperialistic state governments. To end the dependency on middle east oil - which the US seems to tie closely to national security.

There are many things, small and big, which we need to do. Whether it means standing for election to oppose a racist, or investing in green technology to reduce dependency on foreign energy supplies... (Even just reducing your carbon footprint can help, if it means the price of oil drops...).

So a few things. First, Antifa is a violent, extremist, hate group that operates in some corners of the United States. The State Department should declare it a domestic terrorist organization and it should be shut down with the full extent of U.S. law. The terrorist organization (Antifa) regularly targets minors and elderly Trump supporters and often violently assaults them. They are a bunch of sickos and psychopaths.
Second, this poor young lady who was murdered was not part of Antifa. The individuals who murdered her should be prosecuted with the full extent of the law, but we don’t know yet if it was a hate crime, robbery gone wrong, rape gone wrong, etc. We don’t know what this is, but the culprits should and will pay. Still, she is unrelated to Antifa and please do not slander this poor young lady’s name by associating her with a domestic hate and terrorist organization (Antifa).

Third, this was almost certainly not terrorism. This was murder. Terrorist incidents have occurred recently though here are a few examples: A Bernie Bro who listened to Rachael Maddow went out with a list of GOP lawmakers and tried to orchestrate political assassinations. He was a radical liberal and leftist. He was a domestic terrorist. That is terrorism. The recent terror attacks in London and Paris which were carried out by racial Islamic terrorists with ties to the Islamic State. They were terrorists.

Fourth, Fox News, Breitbart, etc are legal media institutions that have a right to operate under the 1st Amendment just like hateful and fake news organizations like HuffPo, Mother Jones, CNN, etc. Orathaic’s comments about shutting down organizations he doesn’t like is similar to what the Nazi Party did to any media organization or political organization that opposed them. Orathaic’s line of thinking is fascist. Don’t be a fascist.

I believe the references to terrorism had more to do with the Finsbury Park attack in London, which was carried out by someone who admitted that he'd aimed to kill Muslims.

Yeah the thing last night may have been domestic terrorism against Muslims which is absolutely deplorable, but I am still waiting to learn more about it.

I don't believe in supressing free speech, just because i dislike someone's opinion. I do believe the peoplewho support racialisation should be pitied, given support to help them get over their prejudices, and those who use the political technology of racialisation to deny right to any person, should be criminalised.

@the geneva convention - US troops can not be brought before the International Criminal Court (the ICC) for war crimes. The US withdrew from the treaty, i believe on the grounds that the other countries wouldn't let american troops be exempt from charges.

The organization that you mentioned (fox news) I don't believe leads to radicalization. It is a media firm like CNN. I don't like CNN, but that doesn't mean I want it to be shut down. There still is something called freedom of the press.

Still though, if there are widespread incidents of violence and mayhem that can be traced to a direct media firm or religious organization, etc then it is the government's job to provide safety and security.
