A result that is only as good as the assumptions underlying the method. Which I won't disclose. But I will say that 1) a bad assumption decreases the accuracy, but 2) does not turn it off.

i don't get this. and i don't get how this is supposed to work. in my mind this seems like you're trying to be productive without actually being productive, and also you're not even sharing your results so it's pointless!!

If you look at just content and pushes, she really is not townie. But looking at her tone, her many townslips, her jailed claim, the interactions with Balki, the emotion she has shown, she just feels so townie. Hard to fake those things and look as genuine as she has.

We're considering "her many" townslips in this read of her? C'mon, the only reliable slip is a scumslip.

Also, anybody can get pissed off at me - it's really NAI, so the "emotion" argument is also BS.

if you've decided to tunnel on me again this game just like last game and you're town again teacon you really need to take a look at your play style. i don't actually believe that fox scum reads me because he's so laissez-faire about it but i feel like you genuinely believe it and it's concerning. if you're town, you really just don't have good reads buddy

fwiw my reasons for scumreading you this game are entirely different than last game. Last game, it looked like you were trying to save damo by creating EoD motion. This game, it looks like your play d3 and d4 lines up well with mafia goals, like setting up mislynches and trying to influence the judge. This isn't about last game at all.

tactically, i guess ad hom works to create an impression of someone's character, but it's dishonest and rude. but... ...I can't respect that.

I don't know fox's alignment for certain, that's not what I'm saying. I have enough of a read to think it's TvT. I'm not alone in that, btw.

I think both Teacon and Fox are incredibly bad lynches and I am super conflicted about what to do here.

Think about who you want in the endgame. Neither of us will have great reputations—there'll always be that suspicion that the survivor managed to wriggle out, but it'll be hard to muster the interest in relitigating it, I think (especially with Connor Damo up next, but see also et).

I won't self-vote, but I think Teacon might be better. My push of him up through D3 looks pretty lazy, especially given I'm about to do an about-face on him.

This is good advice.

To counteract the suspicion, I'm thinking the BA should consider scanning whichever of us lives. or killing us. or killing one of damo/connor if they want tomorrow to play out differently.

Keep in mind that if we're TvT, hemming and hawing about how "gee golly these are bad choices" doesn't really count as towny for anyone, as scum could just as easily try to look better doing this.

The BA definitely should kill (randomly) either damo or connor. If he kills Town, that sucks, but now we've got easy scum for the next day's lynch (if someone cares to explain to me why town would fake claim RB, let me know, but I can't see any town motivations).
