Re: What are you reading?
I am reading Confessions by Augustine of Hippo. It is a very beautiful book.
I was planning on reading Paradise Lost next, but a friend suggested that I read the Divine Comedy before that. When I was planning on reading the Divine Comedy, another friend told me that I had to read Virgil first.

Re: What are you reading?
And before you read Virgil you need to read Homer! They are all great though.Polycarp_of_Smyrna wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2019 3:22 amI was planning on reading Paradise Lost next, but a friend suggested that I read the Divine Comedy before that. As for me:
Right now I am reading Tolkien's The Return of the King for fiction and Machiavelli's The Prince for non-fiction.
I recently finished Austen's Pride & Prejudice, which was one of the funniest books I have ever read.
I plan to read the Communist Manifesto, should be a fun read.
And I try to read the Bible as much as I can.
