and Neph, I thought you'd try harder as scum :D

to put in effort and appear super townie, but guess not lol

Did you give up cuz of mechs? since you got significantly quieter (for pretty much all of it, more so as it went on, excluding trolling).

oh! the joys of bad
syllable counting and the
mutual torment

"Please, please!" said the noob called EMC,
"-we need some mafia poetry!"
"Again?" said Tham,
from Worcej, "No ma'am"
so he gave up on his writing spree.

To those who can't write
don't worry, there's respite!
a poetry generator,
products for an incinerator-
it ain't all utter shite xD :https://pasteboard.co/I4uSjSc.png

sorry if I'm being redundant lol
but really do want a game restricted to talking in sonnets, rhyming, hakius, limericks, or iambic pentameter etc.

the flavor itself would be splendidly horrifying :DDD

I kept Just getting lowkey triggered, first brain outed 75% of the team, then people went back to not reading my posts. Then everyone just sheeped ezio. Combined with the set up there was virtually no chance.

Ironically it was the read list that got me caught. I was telling the truth that I was short on time etc and thought that if I didn't do one then I'd get more heat.

Regardless town played really well so don't want to detract from that.

Also thanks Jamie. A really cool set up idea!

Thank you all for playing.

I am sorry that this setup was somewhat town-sided. Clearly I had underestimated the impact the party affiliation would have in the event of a mass claim. I had considered it, but I underestimated it. I am sorry if this spoiled your enjoyment.
It didn't spoil anything, I think scum just didn't try to sow chaos in it enough. Hindsight: They should've all claimed non-cons instead of actual party to give them a wider pool of lynches and not make it auto.
this is a complicated set up, and to even have a chance to consider the best play scum should have had a pre-game chat
See, I actually quite like a N0 start, but a lot of people here shout abuse at me when I even suggest it.

Ignore people? They don't know what's good and what isn't? That's the only advice I have. I'll give all my games a n0 chat or a daychat

End of game thoughts:

So basically 3 things happened that kinda broke the game

1. Xorxes' mass claim idea.

Super good for town, we actually followed through on it, scum couldn't talk about it and got forced into a corner

2. Brainbombs mod kill

Also super good for town, he survives that with Rdr and I don't see us lynching both of them

3. My scan on Squigs

Amazing for town, plus immediately after my scan Ezio outted so I basically knew on day 2 that the team was Squigs plus 3 from the Concervative pile

So I think that while the setup was slightly town biased, it was also very swingy. If we dont successfully mass claim, brainbomb doesn't get mod killed and I scan Fox like I was thinking it's a totally different game. Maybe give the scum 1 DUP, 3 Concervatices and 1 labour so they have some spread in the event of a mass claim?

GG fellas.

Scum needed to lie more in the massclaim time. They should have split 2-3 on either side and Godfather should have been on the conservative side (Vecna is wrong about Godfather claiming non-con).

If Squigs hadn't been scanned this game could have been interesting in the endgame.

IMO all the setup needed for balance purposes would be 1 mafia (not the GF) that was labor, or the d0 QT.

Good game everyone. I don't think I've ever seen a game where town played better. I agree that day-chat would probably have helped solve some of the imbalance issues.

I think that the Mafia had better chances than I let on especially with the last minute fake claims. They really shot themselves or in the foot when none of them lied.

Squigs lied. He just so happened to be the guy our cop scanned.

That's ultimately how we lost. Even if all four of my teammates had played townie townie townie, with them all claiming con, it was up to me to finish the game out.

Part of the reason I put out so many statistics was to try to show my teammates exactly what we were getting into, and that we needed probably one other to claim non-con.

That post was so long and text book I didn't read it. Sorry Squigs.

I made a big mistake claiming Con. In my defense I just didn't read carefully the opening post and thought we have two non-con, so with Squigs claiming non-con I want to balance things. Starting the game on Carnival was really terrible to my capacity of playing properly.

Game felt a bit short, it was satisfying tho

Xorxes once again, without his plan, things might have been different
