I have to look at this, but my feeling is that England should stay hidden as long as possible, since it is a town clearing role.

I see the potential to catch the SK, but the scum have roles they can claim, or they can claim their own roles if their roles are NAI. America can just claim one of the fake roles on their list.

I have to look at this, but my feeling is that England should stay hidden as long as possible, since it is a town clearing role.
Considering we already have an outed TC and a doctor (Fox) we can protect England for this turn which gives us some additional roles and we also get to test the Fox claim.

I see this as more reason to roll with my idea.

and wrt to your previous GM call, no, I wont be publishing fake claim roles that are known to scum. all roles that could be claimed are in the doc. there are no hidden roles, there are no hidden mechanics, there is no secret conspiracies.

its just a mafia game.

Ill reread to see if any other GM calls were missed but assume any question you have about the setup is that it was random. roles werent handpicked, and the fake claim roles were rng also and may or may not even be feasible for scum to claim.

Also do not try to game the GM, play the actual game. I do apologize some information wasnt made fully transparent in the opening. I apologize about some typos. and I apologize if anyone feels the game is unbalanced. I can assure you that in a game where human error is possible, all setups whether role madness or mountainous can be imbalanced.

and before you ask, yes the sk also has a fake claimable role too.

But I am confused. We all have access to the list of roles. The Google docs link is available to everyone. Why can't scum just fakeclaim by picking roles from there? What is this extra fakeclaim document you have given them? I don't understand it's purpose.

This gets more into setup crafting and these are topics which I dont think are necessary to divulge at present. I felt it was a good idea.

also Jamie it becomes a crapshoot with flavor, fake claims are usually tied with flavor since there's not really a way for Mafia to fake claim that a lot of the time

this game just also happens to be an open game
