Is it, though?
Why wouldn't it be? I don't understand.
DemonRHK had one use for the Gladiator power, and he used after Squigs was already pretty much confirmed scum, thanks to great play by Rdrivera. Why waste it like that? I feel like DemonRHK is a better player, so it makes me wonder, which is why I'm still waiting for him to give me some perspective on what he was thinking.
No. It was D2 use only so not a waste and given the situation Squigs was the natural opponent. Mind you this doesn't prevent RHK being scum trying to get towncred I suppose.

Yes, I know it's only usable Day 2. My point is, why use a tool like that to kill off confirmed scum? That's what's wasteful about it.

Looking at D1 voting the obvious thing to notice is Squigs late switch from Fox to ghug and Fox's switch from Squgs to ghug.

There can only be 2 explanations:

i) they were bussing each other

ii) Fox switched for self preservation and Squigs feared ghug more than Fox.

I'd say it's about 60/40.

Opinions?

I'm happy to clarify that I was voting for self-preservation as much as I was voting for my picks as scum. My vote for Squigs was a snap decision (based on actual concerns, as I pointed out), but it was to ensure I had the option to vote to save myself. (Something I learned from Bozo in a previous game, actually...)

Or maybe you thought you were gonna get lynched so you voted for squigs to distance from him? Because there was zero chance that he was ever going to become a wagon at that moment.

I totally thought I was going to be lynched. But the point of voting for Squigs, despite him being a weak scum read, was more that I was not voting for Bozo, since if I'm already voting for the counterwagon, I can't very well put my vote where it my save me, can I.

And before anyone jumps on this as conniving (and thereby scummy), it's totally NAI. Obviously, scum want to save themself and they don't care where they vote so long as it's for town, but if you're town and about to mislynched, yes, you should vote to save yourself.

(Actually, that's a little bit simplistic on what scum would/should do as they come up on the lynch. They might bus to throw people off, or whatever. But what scum would/should do isn't the point there...)

He's saying the switch to ghug was to save himself isn't he?

I don't like this ending early. We knew we had him. More discussion might have been useful.
Not sure if there are any roles that are only useful Day 2... but are gone.
And I was intrigued by Squiggs' offer to hunt the SK. There was a game awhile ago when teacon did that. Two kills per night is going to be deadly. No pun intended.
I am interested in asking the endvoters why it was so urgent?
wolves and sk should be hunting eachother anyways it's correct play

Yes, it was, if you think all the way through EOD.

It was to position my vote so that I would have the option closer to EOD to vote to save myself. At that point, I was already voting for the counterwagon, and if my vote is already on the counterwagon, it ends up stuck there.

How many times have you seen a lead wagon already voting for the second-place counterwagon? They can't move their vote because it puts them even farther ahead. But if they aren't voting for the counterwagon, they have options. I was creating options to save myself. And also voting for someone I thought could very well be scum.

These kinds of stereotypes are offensive.

For someone who wanted more discussion, why are you not posting much? Several responses have come in yet you've said nothing.

Squigs was the guaranteed lynch, DemonRHK was just using his power to get D3 protection. It is NAI, but it was the last chance for DemonRHK to use his power, so there is no reason to think it was wasteful or anti-town to use it.

I certainly wouldn't kill a fellow wolf in that position. squigs wasn't a big target.
and there are plenty of mislynches
