Hey Flum, can you give us your case on Tom? You've been circling him for a bit now and something about him seems to have caught your attention...
It's still a mix of meta and gut. His random vote was off, and also the sarcasm struck me as overly defensive.
Honestly not enough to lynch him, and if he was actually wagoned I'd suddenly suspect he was town lol. I was hoping he'd post a bit more so I could get something though.

Bozo, Ezio, and Damian are all pretty objectively scummy to me. I'm just skeptical they'll actually flip scum, but at this point I don't really have a stronger read worth lynching.

Squigs - why do I get the impression that you are throwing shade at everyone hoping that something will stick?

Hmmmm, reread ND and not a fan of his posting so far either.

@ND, you said you weren't a fan of Damian earlier in the game. Why is the lynch between Squiggs and Ezio for you?

No it wasn't that I wasn't a fan of Damian it was the interaction between ezio and damian on page six and even to a lesser extent bozo at the top of the page. That caught my interest.

It's not really between ezio and squigs now. I am just going to vote squigs.

Just M40 as well, but I died EON1 so we didn’t interact much

Sure, I scumread you - but you give the impression that you are throwing out names with shaky reasoning (I get all reasoning is iffy at this point) but when it’s not pursued further or nobody latches on - you find another name.

You’ve opened up many avenues to vote many different people without it seemingly coming from nowhere.

I ask because I have gotten this criticism before. It's part of my scumhunting process.

Ok. I’ll try to find time to look back at your history before EOD to see how truthful that is.

You literally just reposted what you said earlier, but with more words. I get you are afraid of scum Rdrivera and Bozo and that you think Ezio lurks. But how does this help us as town? Why did you feel the need to post this? Or was it just an observation you were making?
I'm not sure what you want here. The game had been running for only a few hours, there were fewer than 50 posts and most people were still saying hi. I was making conversation.

My last two games were as an oracled PR and as scum. I'm hungry to solve. Add to that the fact that we are in a game with all highly experienced players, and we are going to need a lot of discussion and interaction to catch scum. Looking at the player list, we don't have a brainbomb, Jamie, etc to create drama or events worth discussing. My aggression is an attempt to generate discussion, wagon movement, push people into uncomfortable situations, etc. I think this is the best way to gather info and catch scum in this set up.
I think most people are comparing me against my meta in the last two games. I'm probably closer to my tiny hunt meta, when I was top poster in that game.

I know I asked you about this already, and your answer is above, but I'm not the only one who's noticed the new you. Based on a quick skim of your iso in the Tiny Hunt game, I disagree that this is similar; you're much more confrontational here. So can you expound a little more on what's going on here? Is this a deliberate approach you're taking? Do you think that focusing so much on extracting answers is going to distract away from the thoughtful deductions I recall from previous game?

So I am restricted in who I can vote/throw shade at? Shouldn't we be looking at everyone as potential scum, especially on day 1?

I'll try and be more transparent with my actual reads then, although these are pretty weak right now.

1. Balki Bartokomous - slight town. He hasn't been as prolific a scum hunter as I was expecting, but his tone and pushes seem consistent with what little meta I have of him.
2. bozotheclown - scummy. His play has been extremely disappointing. I've said before that I don't like his avoidance of reading anyone and lot posting. It mirrors M40 when he was scum.
3. Damian - null. He got off to a really bad start, but as votes and pressure mounted, he actually seems to have gotten better. Recently he has one or two posts I really like where he has shown original ideas that push back on others arguments. I think one of them was about Ezio.
4. Ezio - slight town. he's had some red flags, but his posting style seems more consistent with his town play. He's been more vocal and loose I think.
5. Fluminator - slight scum. I feel like he is coasting and trying to avoid conflict.
6. FoxCastle - slight scum. I think he is playing scared.
7. ghug - why do I have to play with ghug? He is impossible to read and always scumreads me.
8. ND - slight town. his play is also hard to tell, but his pushes haven't been tunneling or obvious pushes like I would expect scum ND to make
9. rdrivera2005 - slight scum. I'm usually more impressed with his play this far in the game. He has been less detailed than usual.
10. Squigs44 - town
11. Tom Bombadil - probably town. His play has been consistent, and the way he has been pushing me seems genuine
12. Vecna - probably town. Venca is "town bursting" where he comments on a burst of posts. Can't find anything wrong with those posts
13. xorxes - town. His playstyle seems more comfortable.

Should we post reads lists before EOD? Assuming scum have a kill* might be good for townies to leave a record to analyze.

*I had previously suggested that there might not be a scum kill and it was just a lynch-off, but I think that's wrong, because it gives town an option to turn any potential loss into a draw by repeatedly voting no-lynch if it comes down to the margin.

Bozo is still sucking it up this game. He has flat out refused to give out any reads except "Squigs voting for me sucks". I'm not gonna let Bozo play the same game he did in M40.
You can't expect me to identify all the scum D1.

I thought your vote was just a pressure vote, am I now scum for being a low poster?
