To be clear, “well known” is not to the general public who almost certainly has no idea who this person is, but rather along the population of, e.g., relevant historians who would know this person and their reasons for fame.Aristocrat wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 2:58 amIs this person well known for any military or paramilitary related achievements?

Aristocrat, you might appreciate this: when I was settling on my pick, I anticipated that I might be asked whether or not this person was a citizen of the USA (presumably meaning at any point in his life). I spent a nontrivial amount of time reading up on Elk v. Wilkins, the Dawes Act, and the Indian Citizenship Act until I convinced myself the answer was "no".
