Sincere apologies for the game issues that are present. We're working on it. Hopefully resolved soon.

Thanks for being on top of it Darg. Not sure exactly what's going on at the moment, there's a PHP host process that's using 100% CPU for some reason which is causing the game processor to be very slow, but not sure what's causing it to use all the CPU. It's not the game master, not seeing any big traffic spikes.. Hmm..

Okay I think I found it; a recent change to make us compliant with the latest rules from Renegade meant we had to compute the distance between supply centers and units to determine which unit to destroy in no destroy order was placed.
The code that did this which ChatGPT spat out I didn't vet thoroughly enough, and it was sort of re-searching the same territories in the map over and over again, which meant if a country had a unit a long distance away it would take a long time to process which unit needed to be defeated.
This caused timeouts mid-game-process, which causes all changes to the game during processing to be reversed, but after a few attempts it sets the game to crashed so it can be investigated.
We'll see how it goes now, CPU is back to normal but I do need to double check that the optimization won't affect the results at all.
Apologies for the trouble. Thanks again Darg for bringing it to my attention; I get instant texts / emails / etc if the site goes down or has a critical issue, but if it's just sluggish and a few games start to crash unfortunately it doesn't currently let me know.

FWIW, my game is still frozen. The game is called "Rulebook Press - Quick Game". I hesitated to use the game name before as it is an anon game and I didn't want to out myself, but I guess I was the originator of the game and promoted it in the forum, so everyone knows I'm in that game anyway.We'll see how it goes now,

Are the issues still happening for people? My two bot games are stuck after turn 1, but I'm also brand new, so I'm not sure if it's user error

Our game was frozen, and it has now advanced to the retreat phase but it is stuck again. The players with retreats have confirmed their movements, but it still says the full duration for the round timer

Thanks a lot for working on it.
However, the number of stuck games has doubled in the last 12h from 26 to 50, as far as I can see. (Active games with status NOW). I don't see any similarities, they are stuck in all kinds of phases and seasons.
