Christmas Drawing Give-away

WebDiplomacy is returning to a winter holiday tradition that was started a number of years ago here, and been profitable and delightful for many. WebDiplomacy will be giving away a PRESENT every day starting Dec 18th through at least Dec 30. The basic prizes are:

December 18 Day 1: 100 webDip points, and webDiplomacy mug.
December 19 Day 2: 200 webDip points, and webDiplomacy mug.
December 20 Day 3: 300 webDip points, and webDiplomacy mug.
December 21 Day 4: 500 webDip points, and webDiplomacy mug.
December 22 Day 5: 500 webDip points, and webDiplomacy mug.
December 23 Day 6: 1000 webDip points, and webDiplomacy mug.
December 24 Day 7: 1000 webDip points and webDiplomacy mug, AND a Renegade Diplomacy Game.
December 25 Day 8: 2000 webDip points, and webDiplomacy mug, AND a Renegade Diplomacy Game.

In addition, note these things:
First, every applicant who ALSO +1’s this post will receive an additional entry into the drawing. (I will make note of +1's, don't dupicate your sign-ups)

Second, every winner will receive (for six months) a unique icon (like the moderator, or donator, icons) for proud display in the forum.

Third, Mug Pictures will be presented after winners are announced!

Sorry if I’m being blunt, but can I ask why? There is no incentive for you to do so (if I understand this right) and someone like me who hasn’t yet donated to the site could easily put in a name and take a prize. Or is it just for fun?
