Cancel the guess Agathe Christie was already used in this game series.

18. Died before 1900.

So 2 questions left to find an English female author who lived all her life in the 19th century. Should be easy now.

If you were to create a reference book containing a treasure trove of snippets and concepts from their works, could you justifiably call it a Brontësaurus?

Actually, sod that question. Too few left.

Is it Emily Brontë? Famous for writing the only book from the Brontë sisters worth reading

Clarification here: You say they lived their whole life in the 19th century, but no question specifies this. We just know they died before 1900. Is this free information for us?

Is it Mary Ann Evans, AKA George Eliot?

I guess I’ll round it out with: is it Charlotte Brontë?

The date range rules out Jane Austen and Mary Shelley...

Possibilities:

Elizabeth Gaskell
Selina Bracebridge
Lucy Madox Brown
