For context, s&c has written quite a lot in the main discord about God and other such topics, and I never picked up on any British spellings he used, so it piqued my attention when ghug asked him about using such spellings, and he responded by saying he had picked them up from books when he was younger.

I thought it was interesting because s&c seems like the kind of guy who might get cheeky with the roleplay and use British spellings as a “Royalist.” And additionally I simply never noticed him using them before.

But upon looking at his writing samples, I only see him spelling “favour” that way. I checked “criticise,” “saviour” and some other stuff I don’t remember.

I’m inclined to believe his story

it struck me that s&c might be the kind of guy who would be cheeky about the role play in this game by using such spelling as a Royalist. I recognize this is kind of silly which is why I said the other post you quoted.

s&c’s explanation for his spellings seemed like total cap, so I went and looked through a writing sample that would not be tainted by in-game considerations: his posts in the philosophical threads on the discord

the conclusion I reached from this is that he does actually spell some of those words that way, so this theory did not have merit and was in fact silly.

I dont want to push and kill the lower posters. for fucks sake I want opinions, meta, ideas, facts, thoughts, to help me get better at reading those four players.

how is this so hard to talk about. what do you guys do when its you having to evaluate these people. do you really just forget about low posters for three or four days of game play before you ever even think about them?

I usually wait for them to start posting and voting so I can have some input to compare to my general perception of them. Asking direct questions and push for reads are also pretty good tools. Both Damo and Bozo tend to give lame reads as scum. Pixxy I really don't know. And I assure you I am a pirate so you don't need to worry with me.

I scumread them partly *because* they are not posting.

Bunny has, I purport (look brainbomb I'm purporting), potentially come up with a scheme to avoid being voted out early, and he thinks he'll get away with it, too. Then he'll come in here with a sob story about getting eliminated early too often as town, and how he only wants to stay off the radar so he can help us navigate to victory, oh yes. That would be scummy if you ask me (and you did ask me, so there). Well, let me tell you, I'm not falling for it. Nobody gets a free pass on my watch, River Dairy, no way.

Bozo's contributions, I have mentioned. He is highly suspicious.

why is this game different from other games?

In this game, I would prefer if people could get in my mindset as much as possible. The more I am understood, the better. Whereas in most strategy games, being able to understand and predict your opponent could potentially be a strong advantage.

Aggressive, motivated, and experienced. I think he's tripping over Sweet in the same way that I did last game, when it's actually just how Sweet plays, so while I think that Sweet is the easiest conclusion he could have homed in on, I don't think it's scum-motivated.

I guess I have to assume that ghug, Haze, and X did not all roll scum in order to assume that ghug and Haze would catch him out if he were behaving differently as scum, but I'm willing to do that (Damo can give me the odds that they are all scum together, I'm sure). I think being new here means that if we pay attention, he cold very well scum-tell or town-tell as we go, but I think what I've seen so far looks towny.

I do think his vote on Ghug is REALLY weird though and I’m not sure why no one has talked about it much. It’s a very un-Jamie thing to do and it almost appears like a royalist going “oh shoot I’m looking kinda sus focusing on Bona like this I better vote Ghug to make it appear like I’m being more objective than I really am” (idk it’s just a gut reaction but I wanna start a conversation on that).

Yea I also found it forced. but Jamie was out at a bar, he probably wanted to get involved in the game even at some minimal capacity and leave a vote before departing for the evening. Overall it isnt outside of his usual behavior.

S&C is fairly consistant from last game it appears (thankfully he’s not pissed at me after I hardcore derailed that game bc I genuinely like them as a person). I have the same problem that S&C has in that I haven’t been on Webdip enough to get a baseline on how everyone acts under normal situations.

having never played with them I dont know. I would say they are worth paying close attention too, but I would not mark them for termination just yet. Maybe give them two days, maybe seven days. hell maybe a bakers dozen.

That being said I think S&C is just a self-aware poster in general. I can see how that might be suspicious but I think it’s just how he posts and I don’t wanna repeat last game

What happened last game, and what is this about self awareness?

It’s weird seeing Worcej post since I assumed he was just a permanent GM in my eyes lol. Their spew of catch-up posts seems logical but I don’t put much into that. People can usually dictate the tone of the forum when they make catch up posts since 9/10 posts will come from them; Worcej could’ve wrote anything and it would’ve sounded “logical” through sheer quantity alone.

If I HAD to kill someone’s right now I’d take a guess between Eden, Fox, and Bona For no reason other than the fact that there seems to be a royalist in one of the three.

Its okay this is webdip. where half the players dont show up and the other half post til their eye sockets bleed. and the game has no excitement after day 3 since the fun people are all dead.
