Yes, but with this it could be something people used to townclear or scum read people based on if they wanted to restartbozotheclown wrote: ↑Sat Aug 11, 2018 8:01 pmI personally disagree, and I think the calls for a restart should have been ignored. Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
Although I deleted an ongoing mafia game once. So I guess Im not the best example either
Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
I don't know. I think Jamiet calling him names was unnecessarily provocative. He was obviously a little too emotionally involved in the game already by that point (he needed to have a timeout and calm down)...and Jamiet's response really didn't help.brainbomb wrote: ↑Sat Aug 11, 2018 8:02 pmThe only thing chippee shouldve been annoyed with was the vig. I dont get why he was pissed at the rest of us. Most of us were townreading him and engaging him. His actions were unecessary, unwarranted, and they continued well after several warnings.
Id support a full, permanent ban from mafia and all mafia type games.

When I say "he" I meant "chip".flash2015 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 11, 2018 8:05 pmI don't know. I think Jamiet calling him names was unnecessarily provocative. I understand, but I think that could all have been dealt with as in game information.RagingIke297 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 11, 2018 8:03 pmYes, but with this it could be something people used to townclear or scum read people based on if they wanted to restartbozotheclown wrote: ↑Sat Aug 11, 2018 8:01 pmI personally disagree, and I think the calls for a restart should have been ignored. I was almost lynched for being scum. Would be so fun to see people shocked.

WarLegend will be runnning tiny hunt for those of you that want to play more right now. I’m going to take some time to recoup and adjust the set up and wording and etc. Not sure if I would run 39 or 40, depends on who else wants to run a game
Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
This was a bit of a hard setup for a GM. Because there were so many actions that didn't just occur at the end of a phase but at any time...and given that we don't have any good notification system setup here I am sure Ike would have felt the need to be obsessively checking to see whether anyone was wanting to perform an actions...instead of only checking back periodically.

Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
I was checking the game every 10-15 minutes when I wasn't extremely busy at work. DT changed his mind with the time stone like 7 times for D1 and ended up not using itflash2015 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 11, 2018 8:39 pmThis was a bit of a hard setup for a GM. But yes, Y2K had scheduled the Ezio kill 1 hour before the deadline, but then DT was going to push the deadline back an hour, 30 minutes before the deadline hit. There were a whole lotta spreadsheets going on

Well, that's a shame. Happy I got right the Jamie/ND act though.
ghug, had you figured out it was me that sent you the item?
brainbomb, it was kind of funny seeing you threaten ghug with a gun from the inventor when it was he who had the item from the inventor.

Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
Huh, of my original scumreads, ND was correct, but when I did my reverse scumreads, I hit Damo and Jamiet, with HR in the pocket. I think I have a new strategy...
Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
As for Chippe—and apologies if this isn't appropriate—but I think at least a one game ban, and if he wants to come back and be part of the mafia community here, perhaps his punishment should be that he doesn't get access to the god thread until the game is over for a period of however many games.
Re: MAFIA XXXVIII: INFINITY WAR
And unlike the last game (which could have got to lylo in 4-5 game days), this one could have taken 9 or 10 days...which could have meant you keeping this up for a month. A HUGE commitment.RagingIke297 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 11, 2018 8:44 pmI was checking the game every 10-15 minutes when I wasn't extremely busy at work.
