Hi all, it's been years since I've played here, and I don't remember seeing the term before. I tried looking in the rulebook page and only see: "Because press in gunboat games, rulebook press games, and public press games is restricted..." so I figure it's not "regular rules"/open press.
And also just to double check, "public press" means only global messages?
Thank you so much!
What is "rulebook press"?

Nevermind, I found it on vdiplomacy (though, strangely, not here on webdiplomacy). Couldn't find a way to delete this thread (Mods- feel free to delete!)
Re: What is "rulebook press"?
In case there's anyone else like me who didn't know or couldn't find the info, "rulebook press" means messaging only works during Spring and Autumn phases and not during the Winter/build phase.

It’s called rulebook, because it follows the rules described in the diplomacy rulebook.
