It's not throwing the game to refuse to vote your strongest townread!Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Mon Mar 08, 2021 1:10 amYeah so you'd decided to stop thinking and you were willing to throw the game rather than check your attitude towards me. Got it.kgray wrote: ↑Mon Mar 08, 2021 1:09 amBecause at that point I'd already made it clear I was never going to vote him, so keeping you alive for lylo wouldn't have mattered.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Mon Mar 08, 2021 1:07 am
Right at the end when I said that Scum Vecna would keep me alive for the endgame, and you replied by shouting at me and hectoring me to end and declaring you'd never vote for Vecna ever so I should shut up.

Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
Thanks to all for playing, and my co-GM for probably being more of a GM than I was.
I wanted to be in the game when Vecna rolled scrum again, but his game was still very fun to watch. Always nice to see scum buddy kgray.
Rd played super well too. Nice to see him live a few days.
Sorry Durga.

I'm just glad I managed to set some record on most karma given : karma received ratio.
Ghug didn't think I could keep up with all the +1

It was a bit of a gamble between celaph and Rdrivera and darg

This was a lot of fun to watch, lots of good play all around. Thanks to ghug for introducing me to GMing. See you tomorrow.
Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
I feel like the no nights are a good way to make a game run quickly. I wish I'd thought to ban hammers beforehand though. I'm curious how the players felt about it.
Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
I liked no nights for speed. But it made GMing harder.
Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
I like no nights, I like scum with daychat, and think hammers don't matter too much in this setup because the phases are only one day so it doesn't actually speed anything up (except at the end, obviously).
Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
I was worried about a speed hammer while Vecna/Jamie were sleeping. We were working on the rules for that for a while. The best we came up with was to say we were busy and couldn't handle a hammer (this had the benefit of being true).

Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
I think it should only be used for purely vanilla games going forward. And without hammers due to timezones.
Imagine if a PR claims just before EoD and scum are asleep. PR magically survives and people will factor timezones into their reads.
Didnt happen this game, but the potential is there.
Re: Mafia 1016: America's Past-Crime [HIDDEN]
There was also an icky possibility of y'all deciding to no-kill on the last day after the scum kill was locked. I've seen games run with the five minute cooldown in the past, but I'm not sure how much it helps.
