Chaqa D1 last game pushed really hard against the ND D1 DK because it gave no info. Bona's pushes this game align with that logic at the most basic level, use the daykill for info. It's not like Chaqa in that I think Chaqa had a better understanding of the underlying arguments, but as we've seen with Bona and voting to create ties, that is part of his game that is the weakest.

Chaqa might have the ability to understand underlying arguments, but he chooses not to use it.

Not in the same way, at least from what I've seen. When we miskilled him 2 games ago he was acting a lot more like he is here than he was when he just stopped posting last game.

Thanks. With the pandemics we can't travel, but I have a house close to the Beach and it's not a popular beach so we have plenty of space.

I finally caught up with the thread too.

I found that Bona exchange really annoying, as it's not how the game should been played, but I think Bona is town, I think scum Bona would have backed down after the pressure he got, but he double down. Also, to add a point, voting lurkers D1 sometimes make them magically apear...

I kinda like the Macca wagon, they didn't gave an impression and I usually tend to easily sort they as town.

I would not mind also a Maniac wagon, his total lack of content other then a weird vote on Brain isn't what I expect from him.

I went back to read their games, it's much more like their scum games than town games. Scum games are light, fluffy and jokey.

Town games are confused, townslips so hard they're unbelievable.

You say town games, but I have only played town once before. I would like to think I'm more capable now on my second attempt.

Right, so I went back through all their recent games. The recent town games had a lot of slips. And then needed it spelled out how they were even slips.

The scum games had not a lot. And something weird about hammering jamie d1 while he slept? It was weird and jokey.

In their scum game with me, Macca trolled a lot D1. I'm not seeing that nervous, nothing-else-to-say-so-I-better-joke-around energy here. Are you seeing something weird and jokey?

And what would they even be slipping about here? In the game you're talking about, bozo specifically asked people what they'd pick as scum, and Macca answered (yes, with slips). But what would they even be talking about here that would cause them to slip?

We've been talking mechanics and picking roles...and they were nothing but correct with regards to the more than half their posts about damo's error.

The rest of their posts were joking around with Bob about lion and poultry, congratulating ghug on a limmerick, and saying Hi.

Not much is happening in the first quarter of D1, so there wasn't much else to do than humor (which is what I find often happens D1 anyway).

The Hi was to attract Bob's attention as I could see he was reading the thread.

I remember having some feelings earlier today.

I didn't like the Bunny-Ghug go-between. I do not think these two are on the same team (including TT).

I remember having some scummy thoughts about Bona earlier, but they have lessened as he responded well to the criticism I was reading.

I like kgray and damo.

Bozo seems weird, he isn't doing anything. I also don't like Vecna doing two posts and leaving, especially when one of those posts was "1".

Maybe I have the big dumb, but I don't understand voting for VCA.

VCA is analyzing the votes to discover the intent. However if the intent becomes meta, the you're analyzing the plan to analyze? If the voting's not natural, then what information can you hope to gleam from it? In this case you suggest "to force ties, to see reactions", especially with saying this is your plan, people can/will just vote around you, knowing that your vote is not based on it's effect and is therefore likely to change?

I think damo was pointing out I made a mistake in what I wrote, it should be (26/68)*(25/67) , which is what I calculated to get 14.3%.

Based on this, the most likely number of players who did not have a town choice is 3.
