I'm teetotal.

A friend recently shared pictures of the Croatian coast with me, however, and I am now determined to visit someday.

Off the coast of Split, is an island Called Brac, and a resort on that island is Hotel Lemongarden. Great place

This turned ugly fast. Might have been ssorrenn’s poor choices though.

Wine: if splurging, alto Moncayo garnacha (red) or rombauer (whte)
Beer: Lagunitas Racer 5, sinebrychoff porter, or BBC black chocolate stout.
Watch: Cartier Tank
Vacation: Turkey/Israel.

Nice watches —Vacheron Constantine
The relatively new "Sistem51" (sic) watches from Swatch are awesome - they buck both the smart watch trend, and fancy watch trend, by offering a durable, 100% mechanical watch at an affordable price.

I love Croatia but the beaches are rocky. I'm currently backpacking across southeast asia and everything is incredibly beautiful. Turkey would be a good spot...

Good wine— Life is too short to waste drinking wine when cider exists
Good beer — If no cider is available, Arbor Ales are damned hard to beat.
Nice watches —Casio F-91W
Bucket list vacations --- Pah. Pick places you like, put them in a Pringles tin, and let fate decide. It's more about who you travel with than where you go.

I don't wear a watch.

Beer: Double Maxim nut brown ale.
Bucket list locations: I agree with Iceland. Also New York, but specifically for the purpose of visiting Handsome Dick Manitoba's bar.

I don’t really understand the appeal of watches. Watch lovers - why do you love watches? What am I missing?
