I don't especially buy ND 'just being himself' seeing as his attacks have gone beyond the usual people he always fights with and onto people like me who always had a tolerable and relatively amiable relationship with him, but maybe I just erased more about him from my memory

Honestly, ND has always been abrasive. I don’t think he has any prior relationship with kgray and I am not willing to dig in old games to confirm that.

I am with Bunny though - he is making some valid points, albeit abrasive, about several people in this game.

In terms of reads, I think voting off the new players is a good town strategy to be honest. I’m not advocating for it at all, but it does make me think flum could be town. Also I already don’t really like ND but I also don’t like the push to vote them out already, since it could be scum trying to start a bandwagon (or whatever term you use here for that).

As an aside: kgray is a woman. If we always use the pronoun "they," then it's harder to pick that up from context.

Hamilton refers to everyone as "they" and personally that's totally fine with me. It's better than what 99% of people on this site do and just assume everyone is male.

I'll state my vote on Vashta is going to hold barring something huge that I catch. I have played many games with Vashta. I know there were several occasions where he would just disengage when he was scum and put out a few nonchalant or casual posts daily. Sometimes he would make it to the end playing like that as scum. I'm not going to stand for it. What he is doing right now is the definition of my meta scum read of him.

I would encourage everyone to take a look at Vashta and also compare that to some of his scum games.

Do you think this being D1 has any effect on his lack of presence, or is he more active as town even on D1?

If someone who is not being an idiot would care to look back at a sample of my games, they would notice that as town, I often open with greetings to my Fellow Townsfolk. On the other hand, as scum, I often open with greetings to my Fellow Townspersons.

In this game I merely amended "Townsfolk" to "Communists" due to the fun flavour.

In a world where you are adapting your gameplay, this post makes me go

There's a huge difference between using a similar opening statement from game to game and trying to change how you read/listen/play the game to get better at being town.

I'd really rather not have to sit through a durga/ND meta-fight happen again. It doesn't help the game, and it'll be too easy for scum to hide within that. I'd rather have you both back playing regularly, rather than burnt out on it. Is that possible this game?

Let's kill ND then. I really disagree with people (Celaph, for one) who say that he's trying to solve or be productive or anything, he's just attacking people and scumreading everyone. And you're right, scum can hide behind it so they're never going to kill him.

I lowkey town read bunny, just off of general nice vibes, talking with celaph, and posting the game guide; ND, for trying to figure things out, even if he comes off as abrasive; teacon, almost entirely based off of post 941; and ghug/brainbomb, for asking about noobs' experience.

I think somethings up with Nep, although the fact that 3 people went after them within 2 minutes weirds me out (posts 111-113). Their explanation didn't sit right with me, but it's too early to call scum or just trying to screw with people.

Jamie's self imposed low posting also doesn't seem right to me - wouldn't it be better to get your thoughts out more? I call this soft scum, since it looks like he's trying to fly under the radar here.

Aarodaytal seems to be eager to get himself proven town, although I'd put that down to being new.

Celaph is trying to avoid pissing anyone off imo, but I think he's solid.

Everyone's sus of kgray seems to be off of meta knowledge, so I have no comment.

Yoyo, bozo, and Chaqa done jack after 2 days, although I would put this as slightly town, cause mafia are the ones who need to prove their non-scumminess, and they need a solid track record to come out on top against actual townies.
