Non-game related - have you done a sleep study? a CPAP could fix your issues if you actually have apnea.
Will go that route once those clinics are cleared, vaccines, etc. When I was pushing 230lbs and eating/drinking like a glutton, the snoring would make sense. Now that I am more fit, below 180lbs, and eat/drink more moderately, it doesn't make too much sense. Age, maybe?

I used to neti pot all that time, and that seemed to help a bit. I used one of those nasal strips last night, and my wife told me she thought I was dead. So, there is that.

OSA is more likely to more tired you are during the day etc so if you are often tired/falling asleep it wouldnt be the worst idea to pursue it

@celaph, my manners have gotten beyond me, so welcome to the game.

SInce your post on page 30, which I thought gave a semblance of reason, have your town-reads changed? If ND remains the lead wagon, would you jump on?

And now I am intrigued with this Blood on the Clocktower.
Thanks for the welcome.

Re ND. The votes against him seem to be because of who he is as a person and not because they think he's scum. The exception possibly being maniac who seems to be jumping on the wagon. I'm not sure how I should/want to play with someone so antagonistic and feel like defaulting to ##unvote for the time being.

Blood on the Clocktower is a mafia-esque game that I think does a better job with player involvement in in-person settings. For example, dead people can still talk and there are roles built for players who have to leave early or get there late. I've found a greater variety of roles there than in my (albeit rather limit) experience with more traditional mafia.

Yes, please. I'd like to know as well. I've got my thoughts, but I won't show you mine until you show me yours.

Defending teammate Vash here under almost no pressure would be very scumbrain.
Turn left now to avoid approaching tunnel

So is ND legitimately a lead wagon? Why?

I'll be honest, I've had to skim so much. Yes, yes, yes, I'll go look at the bot to read vote captures, etc.

But, Durga, kgray, glug, maniac...why ND?

Also...

##Unvote
Why unvote while questioning her and the wagon she’s on? Do you not want her to be second wagon anymore? Why?
Because it was a lame "put a vote on someone wagon" with no absolute rationale. Since I don't expect to be facedown in a ditch tomorrow afternoon, I want my vote to float free and land on someone that is a reasonable, evidentiary choice.

Am I going to ask you to explain your unvotes each time you make one on Day 1? Or wait, should I?

Why are you voting Chaqa?
Because his opening post may have contained a lie. He then said he’d be around today and wasn’t. He never answered my repeated questions about his early post. A combination of it all.

Nice to meet you aarodactyl. Happy Thanksgiving.

Have you read any of the games here?
What do you expect will be the hardest part about finding scum in a forum game instead of a live game?
How do you scumhunt in live games, and is that adaptable to this format?

Same goes for @bonatogether and @celaph, but I guess I also want to know what your mafia/werewolf experience is too.
I haven’t read any of the games here. I’ve debated doing it in the past but it seems like it would take a long time given all the volume.

I’m a little concerned about different players blurring together, since I don’t have people to associate them with. Also the sheer volume of posts is going to make figuring out signals hard.

To be honest, I’m not great a hard reads so I usually like to try to think about reads in terms of roles in live games.
This is more what I was expecting. This feels honest.
Agree that its honest, it makes me uncomfortable though

A lot of excuses why theres no content from them but no attempt to even generate town reads,

Very low effort play at best

Non-game:
What's this OSA? I was waking up with a fair amount of energy. I would start to tail off around 2 or 3pm. Finish up with students, walk home, run my 5k, walk dogs, head into bed around 9pm, read, Coronation Street, then start to fall under around 9:50.

I do wonder if my coffee consumption is heavy. 4 cups from 7 to 10am. I bought decaf to try on the weekends.

I find Bunny's questioning contrived and shallow, so he's probably town.
Really? You aren’t wondering these questions?
I find his actions questionable. I find your questioning of it underwhelming.

Oh, does anyone else take notes, write stuff down, related to the game? Anyone have a template they employ? If you have a link, can you send it via PM? I'm trying to streamline the way I track this voluminous material.

Like in the section on brainbomb, I have written null/scumlean in one column.
In the evidence column I have written: claiming to tunnel me, shading me as scum (throwing out a morsel to see if anyone else bites?).

If that keeps up it's going to be a large document by the time...well, let's hope we get lucky and Daykill the 6 scum sequentially.
Hasn't this guy played a few games before?

Whack that its only coming up now

I'd really rather not have to sit through a durga/ND meta-fight happen again. It doesn't help the game, and it'll be too easy for scum to hide within that. I'd rather have you both back playing regularly, rather than burnt out on it. Is that possible this game?
Let's kill ND then. I really disagree with people (Celaph, for one) who say that he's trying to solve or be productive or anything, he's just attacking people and scumreading everyone. And you're right, scum can hide behind it so they're never going to kill him.
Is this a scumslip lmao?
Oh I was liking you but this is lame.

I included two town reads (flum and nd) in another post around the same time. Bunny knows me in real life and most of his reactions to my posts seem to be him confused my initial shit posting.

Ok, but you have been reading. Thoughts about other players so far?
Initial townleans on Celaph, Brainbomb, Vecna, ND.

Initial scumreads on Fluminator and perhaps Worcej - I notice he's the top poster but goodness me the signal-to-noise ratio in his posts is low, which bothers me somewhat.

The Neph-Balki exchange seemed interesting to me too.

I assure you that when I read my role PM, it will say that I'm town. Let's just work on that assumption for now, at least.
Clarify interesting?
It struck me as a big interaction you were both taking seriously, at what was a pretty early stage in the day. Town points to you both, at least... at a glance....

@Nephthys, I don't think we've played together.

Still think Vecna is scum, even if it is a 3 month old conviction? What's the current reason based on their posting?

Your read on Aaro sounds like my play when I played my very first game, and had rolled scum. Worth digging more into?

How do you explain your skill as better at townhunting than scumhunting? And what's your secret?
1. That was a shitpost that kinda flopped. Vecna and I usually clash at some stage and I have had a low threshold for scumreading him in previous games as I found the playerbase reluctant to kill him even when obv!scum

2. Not digging in to, but observing

3. The trick is actually to be really bad, if I townread everyone I get ~80% which is a reasonable hit rate

Honest question: did it help Town last game? I realize you think it helped you while you were in a funk. And it’s D1 so I don’t really care at the moment. But I don’t think it helped Town last game.

Durga seems more coasty

Although I'd say this is more likely to be S/S
Is coasty code for disinterested or busy? I feel like Durga turns it on after Day 2 and then starts to really hone in. I don't want to make excuses for them though.
Coasty = Putting in no effort and running with the game rather than adding to it
