This possibly has recently entered my mind for a very specific reason.

What specific reason?

In the game we were town-town together, we also butted heads, but it briefly got into personal attacks. I haven't checked, but I don't recall that from him as scum. I thought him calling me a "little sneak" might be an indicator that he's town.

"Little sneak" sounds endearing to me, but then I'm not a native speaker so I'll defer to you on that.

Another note I caught: Xorxes makes little in-jokes throughout his posts. Calling worcej smarmy, asking Chaqa about college roommates, "worcius"... That just seems odd to me, but I don't know if it means anything.

That reminds me that Chaqa never answered the college roommate question.

My two general+specific townreads are Worcej and Damo. In addition to broadly thinking that they're playing townie, I think Worcej did some things in the dust-up with me early on that scum wouldn't, and I also have an item for Damo that specifically makes me think he's town, but I don't remember it (it's either in a notes file or I am pretty sure I could go back and identify it).

That is not an insult. It means: “Ha! You are a fluffy, cuddly, deadly little koala bear, with big mesmerizing eyes, and a surprise scorpion tail in back, who prances around on tip toes among the eucalyptus trees.”
