Therefore, when Squigs quoted Prado's vote, he voted for KItsune, even if the bot doesn't register it for some reason (i don't know why/when peter made this change).
I would not have thought this was the case either. I always thought votes only counted outside of quotes. Maybe Chaqa's just special. Sucks that we had to lose a... um... (what does Universal Backup do? Please tell me)

What time is the phase end now?

Anyone with a role that mafia could steal and janitor and who thinks like me that they might be nightkilled should probably claim their role before EON to prevent mafia from stealing and claiming that role.

That's another reason why massclaim is a good idea, but now it's probably best to do it as close to EON as possible so that scum can't base their kill choice on the claims.

Anyone who does NOT claim tonight at EON will have some explaining to do tomorrow.

Ehhh, D1 already being over makes me feel even less confident in the possibility of this being a good course of action

Greetings all,

Just read everything up to this point. Sorry to not get to play with Kit again.

Only 2nd game, so had to look up mass claim.

Would the team consider doing it via the popcorn method? We'd all 'vote' someone "the most scummy" to reveal first... It does seem that Vapor falls under this condition, but since they seem like a likely wagon tomorrow I'd be up for Vecna. If we can get conscientious to move forward this way they'd claim first.

Regardless, I've redesigned the spreadsheet I tried to use the last game so as to track townie behavior vs. scummy behavior. I've got those in favor of mass claim as townie points, and those against as scum.
Lets hope it works better for us this time (I was Quill last time so no way I was going to help so much, really want to do better this time so I'll take any advice anyone's willing to give, but won't keep playing the newbie card).

The game is a foot.

Aside from one less claim scum might have to worry about? Vapor would probably not claim anyway at this point, so scum just need 3 non-confirmables to pick out. I also mentioned fake confirms earlier, I was referring to not to role thief but instead to if they were given fake claim roles where they could coordinate an outcome that "confirms" them as that role, and since the mafia QT is probably open (I assume even if there was an anti-encryptor they wouldn't have decided to use their single use ability 2 hours into the game) it means right now they are likely coordinating.

1. All players must vote at least once per game day, and post at least twice per game day.

Does this mean that there is no requirement to post at night at all?

##CALL GM:
Lover (OAG)
You are OAG, the Town Lover! During the day, you participate in the lynch process. You are a member of Memetown. By the end of Day 1, you must have a player target chosen. If this player dies, you will die as well. You win once the Memefia and any hostile third-parties have been eliminated.
What happens if the Lover (if there is one) did not have time to choose a target by the end of day one? Do they have to choose at night?

Yes, the Lover will basically have to choose by what would have been the end of day 1.

What's the big deal if they coordinate? We reduce the lynchpool to some seven or eight people who claim non-provable roles. How is that bad?

See, I haven't clicked on that doc link, but it contains the description of my role made PUBLICLY

I wasn't aware of that, would have done this differently or rather not used it at all unless I was chosen for a lynch

##GM Note -

I do not know why the bot doesn't count quoted votes, but I don't use the bot or my vote counts. I'm following the precedent we've been using since M1 where quoted votes count (hence why we've always replaced octothorpes with [] in quotes. Therefore, when Squigs quoted Prado's vote, he voted for KItsune, even if the bot doesn't register it for some reason (i don't know why/when peter made this change).

DEADLINE MOVED 24 EARLIER
This is wrong and not how we have been playing since the new forum as the quote function make really clear what is a vote and what is just quoting someone, I think you shouldn't have handled it this way and for sure should not consider it for next days as it just make the bot unusable.

Yes, that role is kind of weird. I would not have used it until LYLO, and then hammer for the win.

Im pretty sure in every single game role descriptions are made public, kind of odd you didn't think it was the same for this game
