Like I said - I suspect it was either:
1. Scum think Neph is SK and wanted him to not get a stone Maniac has
2. Scum think Neph has the Mind Stone and wanted to ensure he couldn't pass it on at EoD

Why would they think that though?

Well, him being SK is reasonable as a guess if he isn’t scum.

Sulit on #10 spot, putting Maniac several ahead in the D2 wagon. Most of the voters in the bussing sweetspot on this wagon are conftown, so this is maybe sulit hitching late for the bus. Only suspect vote locationally was Neph's but Neph articulated the scum case really well.

So regardless to the answer about the above, we'll be down to 6 vs. 1 vs. 3 after the night is over. If some Maniac analysis can justify a better targeted 2nd scum lynch and we can keep momentum then we've got hope.

I'm thinking of analysis on where the stones are and how many SK has, and will need in order to be a viable winning lone wolf, but I wont post it here yet because it seems it might be a bit scummy to out some of those thoughts. More after dawn.

I agree with Chaqa, and I'm pretty strongly leaning town for Kalel at this point.

He's shown persistent energy even when I got demoralised earlier, and has shown a strong persistence in trying to piece together the facts behind all this confusion and deception.

+10 for excellent analyses, and keeping on trying different heuristics to get different reads.

If EMC was the Doctor, and mafia knew this somehow, they would janitor AND roleblock him to ensure a kill as the doctor is most likely to self-save in night 1. This would leave Fox free to claim RB and get towncred, and let Maniac/E.P. Both claim doctor.

We need a little more to lock onto this theory for sure, but it’s not the most impossible thing.

The one reason I can't quite get behind this is the Fox RB call. If they suspected EMC was doc then why wouldn't they RB him to ensure he couldn't self save?

Foodcoats looks REALLY bad from day 2. He voted Maniac early, left for a yuuki wagon, before going back to Maniac when he was up 3 votes and it seemed like a sure thing.

I think we lynch Food before we can use the stone. Using on you is a good choice as you is useful as a town clear (and a dangerous scum).

He only really broke town Day 1, and I tend to think the group (myself included at times) was too harsh in their expectations for town play from a new forum player. If you look solely at play from Night 1 onwards, I think the town theme comes through pretty clearly.

I think I've mostly got points lately for genuine attempts at scumhunting (i.e. stop being the village idiot), although my techniques are probably not a great deal of help since they consist of consolidating data for reposing without a great deal of analytics. My most current scum list did include Maniac (& Damo, Sulit, Food), so I've got that going for me (I had Nephs on that a few days ago but I've been turned around on that).

If the vision stone is still in our hands I'm fine being scanned, but obviously I've stated town so I consider it a waste.

I think that there's a lot more creative scumhunters than me still on the team so if there has to be one more VT sacrifice I'd be fine taking the fall providing the rest don't let me die in vain.
