Borderlands 3 poor reviews
GameStop has rated Borderlands 3 at 8/10 and PC Gamer at 63%. From what I’ve read, it seems that the main quarrel is tired humor and unimaginative characters. I planned on preordering the game after the testing/pre-release reviews were released, however, I’m no longer sure. I’ve heard that the gameplay and the arsenal are what’s to be expected and more from a Borderlands game, but do I really want to play a Borderlands 2 rehash? If the story isn’t inspired and there is hardly any comedic relief, what motive do I have to spend $60 on the game?
I’m not sure how big the video game community is on WebDip, but any discussion on borderlands and expectations are welcome here.

Borderlands is best played with others, especially couch co-op. My wife and I are terrible at shoot'em up games but we've played all the Borderlands games together. I would wait until the game is on sale though.

I feel like Borderlands is pretty straightforward in terms of making it clear what it is. If you liked the first few, I don’t see why you wouldn’t like the new one.

Re: Borderlands 3 poor reviews
I miss a lot of aspects of old school video games.
-Popping a new game in and enjoying it immediately (No required downloads)
-No notification in the middle of an offline game
-Renting videogames! I miss this so much
-Having actual disks. Those used to exist.
-Split screen actually being supported/considered in the creation of frame data and real time storage. I feel like newer split screen games just freeze/crash/lag when attempting even two players.

In case anybody was interested, I ended up purchasing Borderlands 3 on PlayStation and would love to have some fellow webdip players to play with
