That's part of the issue. If recent history shows much, its that justice might not follow. That is the crux of the issue. Police officers in recent memory have been acquitted of killing black men. There is no faith in the justice system which is what evokes these reactions. If there was faith in the justice system, this likely would not be happening.
Except, that white people are killed by cops all the time. And the cops face prosecution less than when blacks are killed.

Sounds like you have a serious problem with your police force. But remind me. What percentage of the population is white? And what percentage of people killed by cops is white? Is it 4 times more likely that a cop will kill a black man (and that is just looking at the shootings, thus does not include those killed in custody).
Well, they ARE three times more likely. And you forget, to account for disparity in crimes committed.

Yeah. We do. Non-racists have been screaming about it for decades ...

Non racist is not enough, you need to be anti racist.

And Colin Kaepernick demonstrated what happens when you protest peacefully.

Well, remember, he says it's about race. He didn't protest police brutality, he protested police brutality against blacks, ignoring whites. I don't listen to racists gobble.

While you fail to account for the coorelation between crime and poverty. Or at least the application of justice and poverty (white collar crimes are far less likely to be prosecuted). But guess which group is disproportionately likely to live in poverty.

Less likely to get a job - because racism - and thus more likely to be forced to steal to feed their family? Perpetuating the cycle.

Poor white people struggle because they are poor and they live a capitalist shithole.

Poor black people struggle because they are poor AND black and they live in a capitalist shithole with an enormous racism problem.

Both of these groups are having a hard time. One of them is facing an additional challenge that the other is not.

Yeah, before you get to sure of your self, try to remember what being poor was like precapitalism, or in modern era's under socialist government.

You're worried about poor white people, but you love capitalism?

They must be too lazy or stupid to earn their fortunes then, right?

As we know, under capitalism, anyone can succeed if they work hard enough. Therefore if you love capitalism you must think that anyone who is poor has only themselves to blame.

Black Lives Matter primarily focuses on injustice against black people by police, but this hasn't stopped them from advocating against all police violence, like when Daniel Shaver, a white man, was killed by police. I feel trying to paint these protests as "racist" obfuscates the point.

Painting these protest, even if they are black people standing up for their own rights, as the enemy of poor white people who also suffer disproportionately from police brutality is disengenous at best, and literally a play out COINTELPRO's play book at worst.

The only reason to object to less police brutality against specifically black people is because of racism.

Sorry I thought you were worried about all the poor white people in the USA, no?

Doesn't the fact that so many white people are poor, in a country that's supposed to be one of the most powerful capitalist countries in the world, show you that capitalism doesn't work?

Prove me wrong.

Under true capitalism anyone can succeed. However much like socialism and communism, there is no true capitalism anywhere in the world. The system is rigged to favor the few.

For instance Donald Trump would be on welfare if his father hadn't given him jobs and about $400 million for his businesses. Trump has driven so many different businesses into bankruptcies that he's had to resort to crimes just to keep his remaining ones running. Trump Corporation is currently fighting record releases over tax evasion and bank fraud in New York.

In today's news, thundercunt extraordinaire Donald Trump says he hopes murdered black man George Floyd would be happy about some unemployment statistics:

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/worl ... 0_pEYb8yRk

That he would think this kind of thing is appropriate to say, is so deeply fucked up.

How can anyone still support this horrible, horrible, horrible man?

I genuinely hope the fat asshole has a heart attack sooner rather than later.

Now that you mention it, Trump does have very similar colouration to my Lion-o action figure. Damn it, I'll have the theme tune going through my head all evening.
