Re: UK Election Night Commentary
The entire campaign from all sides was a competition to see who could tell the biggest lies. Even the Lib Dems tried their best. The British people don't like liars, but they weren't given any choice in the matter.

Someone had to get votes, even when all the choices are distasteful.

The Lib Dem campaign was downright weird. Jo Swinson claiming she thought a Lib Dem majority government was actually possible. Could she actually have believed that?

Re: UK Election Night Commentary
You'd like to think not, but the European elections certainly filled a lot of Lib Dems with delusions of grandeur. From what I observed things went to shit shortly after the arrival of the coward and serial traitor, Chuka Umunna, who was immediately given remarkable amounts of power and influence and a bizarre celebrity status amongst the membership. I believe he was a driving force behind the revoke article 50 nonsense, but that's only based on what I've heard.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 8:20 amThe Lib Dem campaign was downright weird.
