If an attacking unit is dislodged does it's attack still break a defensive support

The title pretty much says it all, but to clarify.

Player A is holding Mar with support from Bur
Player A attacks Mun from Ber supported from Sil
Player B attacks Bur from Mun unsupported
Player B attacks Mar from Spa and Gas

Does the attack from Bur still break the support even though the attacking unit was dislodged?

Yes, it does. The unit in Bur will not successfully provide support as Mun still cuts.
