Furthermore will
One last obvious scumtell for you is you moved me up your list away from being scum as I stopped scumreading you. And only now when I call you out on how obviously wolfy you are in the thread and im here busting up whatever crap it is youre doing now im suddenly obvious and now youve suddenly felt I was scum all this time. Your own fake reads lists prove you dont really think that at all
Also I do think
Now that Will has declared he has some mechanic on you
The eventual reveal (or lack thereof) will decide where the wind blows so you shouldn't put too much energy into this, when there are other threads to chase
Maybe?
He has nothing mechanical on me I can guarantee you that.

What does mechanical mean in this context? I’ve seen this term being thrown around, but have no clue what it means in this case…

It was being upgraded to mechanical by snowy in a spurrious manner. Will has absolutely nothing of substance to say towards me. Like everything he says and does its spur of the moment, random, ever changing and lacks any grasp whatsoever on what is even happening. Hes just will. He plays, he talks, he does things and sometimes he finds gems, sometimes he just flutters about doing god knows what

So do you think he would involve himself in this as a different scum team? I have a pretty strong townread on brain, so I kinda think this is more just town brain, but I'm wondering if you're seeing something I'm missing.

Also I'm pretty in space and my keyboard feels weird lol
I think brain is basically obligated to tinfoil in this situation regardless of his alignment, and in this setup he can do that somewhat legitimately. The throw-in will comment after the fact felt corny and not in line with the rest of the thought, and that's pinging me. I haven't fully processed what I make of it yet.

The other thing getting me is how incomplete his analysis of sweet voters last night was. He took the time to find one post of mine and then just completely ignored the rest of them. He didn't get to day two. I don't think he even got to everyone?

Why are you townreading him so strongly?
It's mostly vibes. I have generally been townreading people who are contributing heavily and seem to be presenting plausible theories, but I guess brain is probably capable of writing essays on anything given his prolific nature and ability to approach any angle with zeal.

It is a bit odd that he hasn't started fighting with me yet.
Why do you scumread me then?

Is he fun to play with: yes
Is it gonna make sense: no
Is it infuriating: absolutely because it makes his town game watered down and his scum game all about seeing what he can get away with

Mechanical means that while ordinarily mafia is a game of guesswork, sometimes the setup allows for certainty in the midst of all this chaos.

The classic example of this is of course a cop scan: perhaps you might doubt that the cop claimant is telling the truth, but even then if that cop dies you would trust that they told town the truth and so we know the person he denoted inno/scum is mechanically so

Still doing dip but if Dip flips scum then we gotta go brain
If this can be considered a spurious upgrade to mechanical context then I suppose dear William has some serious issues

I see, thank you for this answer. That puts a lot of things into context (such as accusations, and the Balki plan) into context.

If you interpreted that to mean will has some mech on me hes claiming I would know what that is?

The only thing I can think of is I claimed I visited him so is he claiming judge fear? Like proving I didnt scan him?

When dip wagon was forming he was arguing dip was town and my name was not even in that conversation. My name was brought up when ghug and will started lubing each other up for a slip and slide adventure

I read it as 50/50 bluster with intent to irritate or mechanical.

I suppose it's inevitable that interest in this phase has waned
But I do feel like between the Vecna kill and the ND claim there's plenty of stuff to be discussed
I shall turn in for the day but I encourage everyone to post some thoughts rather than simply waiting out the hammer

My best scum explanation for the comment that bugged me is you and Will as teammates, though. Not exactly a lubing situation.

I'll be back later, but prob best to end it imo. Although if people want to root around for connections Dip&War made for 46 more hours that's fine too.
What do you make of kotp saying his FALSE report on you is significant?
Could be something mechanical that happened and he is an investigative role of some kind.

Could also be a mafia play.

if it is mafia then we have caught him and dip&war so that's two mafia down.
-Kill me then kill dip and kotp.
-kill dip, force mafia to NK me, kill kotp
-kill kotp, force mafia to nk me, kill dip

As soon as dip flips it validates me and kotp is screwed unless there is some mechanical stuff that happened. Haven't really read past this.
