This is scum HR to a tea. He's usually a lot less aggressive as town unless he's doing a gambit. This is very similar to the game he tried to get Moscow miskilled.

When it was against Vecna, he was more confused by Vecna going on about him messing with his status appearing invisible to troll him.

It does remind me of that Moscow game, but I feel like the Vecna moment did too.

I've received a few private messages about a mechanic I failed to clarify in the OP. Apologies for the confusion.

To the extent that Jailers, Roleblockers, and Smugglers may or may not be in the game, players would ONLY have been notified that they were disrupted by these roles if they submitted actions disrupted by these roles. If the target of these roles either does not have a night action, or does not submit one, then the target isn't informed of a roleblock/etc.

Night 1 was adjudicated according to the above principles, and future nights will likewise be adjudicated in the same way.

I realize this is non-standard and it should have been made clear in the OP. I apologize again for the confusion.

I feel like a scumbucket who is forced to claim jailer this early isn't going to survive very long. (1) If their story about Y is not believable, they're dead. (2) Once our two protective roles flip, they're dead.

I think they know only if they had a night action to cancel.

In that case, do they find out why it was canceled? For example, if you jailed the medic but they saved someone that wasn't selected to be killed, do they know they were jailed? Likewise, if you had an investigative role and you're jailed versus if your target was jailed.
