What makes you think that Maniac didn't realize there was a traitor?

He literally said it in his end of the night post.

Has he said anything else that might undermine that theory?

Well since I didn’t realize that when he was saying hi in the first pages that he was replying to people that said hi to him that really blows up the whole theory. When I built the case I was doing so on the bot in a hurry and just saw that he said hi to two people and thought he initiated those interactions when in fact he was replying. Given that correction and his more recent posts I think it is extremely unlikely that he is the traitor. It was sloppy on my part not to catch that but I thought I had something on him.

I believe seth keeping his vote on Maniac but congratulating Chaqa for counterclaiming puts him in the same group as those who were voting for Maniac but switched to summit after Chaqa's counterclaim, which is you, TrPrado, BunnyGo, and Donny. I think this group is a good place to look for scum.

Damo in particular is intriguing since he isn’t interested in actually finding scum he just wants to vote someone on the maniac wagon.

I think Donny's D1 voting looks the most suspicious.

There was a significant amount of time where Donny was a top wagon along with summit. During this time, he tried to help build wagons on Tom and Nanook but never voted for summit. Donny later voted for damo when damo was leading summit 4-3, then when summit had retaken the lead from damo, Donny switched to Maniac. Despite choosing all of these votes over summit, Donny never mentioned summit until EOD, and the reasons he gave for these votes were not particularly strong:

You then said if Damo did then your vote would shift onto Moscow.

I totally agree that Summit won't claim if Maniac was scum. Yes, he can be traitor, but it's a less likely possibility, so I would give Maniac some credit.

On VCA, Ghug, Moscow and Tom get most towny points. Prado and Damo get most scummy points. Worcej also doesn't look good, but I still don't get scum vibes from him. And everybody already pointed this

Kgray is a solid town, she was the one giving a solid reason to scumread Summit, having played with scum Summit before. Flum reasoning is weird, but I don't see scum bussing that way. I would add Flash, HR and Durga to probably town (at least not people to worry at D2). The late voters are less towny as we should have some bussers.

My top scum suspects are now Prado, Bunny and Seth. Nannok also by elimination. Damo and Worcej could be fooling me, but I still townread them.

Interesting enough Nanook, Seth, Bunny and prado were all off-wagon or hopped on summit last-minute. I am thinking maybe it is because there was scum on his list.

I mean, most people have been scumreading at least 2-3 of that list so I don't know if this is really a huge find lol

I think it is likely 1 or 2 of the primary scum team voted for him early, and the rest switched to him at EOD if they were online. You, Fluminator, damo, and MF switched your votes off of summit at some point, I think you are all good candidates for bussing.

I am pretty confident that he wasn’t signaling traitor. It also is less likely that he is mafia given that he and summit were both the top wagons.

Actually, I get this feeling that Maniac is on to something. When damo said he was "on the gargle" it sounded to me like another euphemism for drinking, and google confirmed this. Obviously I realize 2 people referencing drinking isn't necessarily a huge coincidence, but it could be a signal from damo too.
