OK. Got some work done.

One last personal thing about Bismarck that I've only just realized has bothered me:

He's ALWAYS on the forum. I see him all the time. But he almost never posts. I saw him right now while refreshing the page. He's only posted when I called him on it.

What's with that man?

I leave two pages up all the time for ease of access: this thread, and the bot. And I do that on 2 devices: my work laptop and my desktop. I also use my phone to reread thread when out and about. I am "always on" playing Dip: I am in 3 current Dip games, and have been playing against bots to sharpen tactical skills.

If that is what you have on me, it is pretty light, don't you think? And my style is not to do one liners copying whole people's threads to fill up pages...

I don't know your style. But it's a good answer to "what's with that man?"

Imagine I am scum!bunny. How does scum!bunny play? Quite well actually. I managed a game start to finish with only bozo (a traitor scum) suspecting me despite a huge volume of posts.

How did I do it? I stayed in my lane. I didn’t jump around votes until lylo (when I did nearly give the game away) I bussed.

Simply put: I didn’t do anything surprising. Scum!bunny knows how to hide and does it well.

How does Town!bunny play you ask? Like sh*te. He doesn’t trust his reads. He has trouble telling if people are fools or scum. He can’t get a handle on anyone else’s motivations. When bunny knows things (because he’s scum) he can manipulate away. When he doesn’t (because he’s town) he hunts and tries to post every thought so people hunt with him.

So...look to the good players. Look to my old scum buddies (Damo). And think about the following:

If EMC is town, why would scum!bunny do this?

Listen to the dead! Who was bozo accusing? Not me. And he’s THE ONLY player to ever make me as scum (and he made me that entire game from start to finish).

Listen to the good players. Don’t sheep me. But trust that I’m trying my best. It’s just bunny’s town best is much worse than his scum best. But I’m earnest.

And that’s my last defense. Let’s go really hunt. Stop being fools (fox I see you. Sorry I triggered to, but you’re better than this. Stop tunneling).

So bunny, your own explanation hinges on the fact that emc is town and this is known to everyone. If he's a townread for you, why would you have this be the lynchpin of your argument? If he's a scumread, why arent you voting for him?

I'm also trying to digest whether or not shouting "bozo is the only one who could successfully scumread me" immediately following bozo's untimely death is scum indicative or town indicative. Maybe one of the "good players" could enlighten me on that, but from my limited experience I don't think Bunny would fearkill on N1.

@gold I think a lot of the people scum reading me have the analysis hinging on the fact that I "saved" emc. Don't you? Otherwise I'm just a misguided town trying to do his best, and that's hard for people who are tunneling to accept.

I said I won't defend myself anymore...it's enough. You can think through whether my behavior is more likely a complete scum failure or lost town for yourself.

As for whether I fear kill? Nope. Never did it as scum. Didn't need to except for the games that were role madness. But you can go actually research and think if you care to. My games are not that hard to find, I've played fewer than 10.

As for why I'm not voting EMC right now. I'm researching. Thinking. Reading. Considering who has said what, and why they'd say it if scum, and why they'd do it if town. You know...the game we're playing.

Bunny, It's odd that you say you've played few games here and don't remember the one we played together. Also odd that you think I'm new...AND told me to use the peterbot when you clearly didn't do the same.

I've been in M21, M22, M24, M27, M52, M1009

I was playing before the peterbot was even built.

I agree that a lot of the scum reads are around the theory that you saved emc or damo (everyone here seems to be forgetting bunny could've easily flipped a vote onto damo and had them killed).

However what I don't like is your defense. It basically boils down to

• 1) I'm great when I'm scum and horrible when I'm town (If true - why keep you around anyways)
• 2) You bus when you're scum (which your vote on emc could be construed as)
• 3) EMC is town (In which case we could only clear you if we flip EMC and kill a townie)
• 4) Listen to bozo (When D1 reads are notoriously bad, and he is by self-admission the only long-term threat to you).

I think the daykill has to be between you, damo and emc today in order to clear all of this up and get a handle on what happened EOD1. We can either catch a some scum or get a bunch of partial townclears out of it.

Honestly the one thing that bothers me most about EOD is that you waited for me to post an agreement on your assessment on emc before moving your vote. You say you didn't like how the wagon blew up, so why did you wait for confirmation that other people might join you?

What are you talking about damo? Do you expect people to actually sheep you? Because you shouldn’t.

I looked at bozo and couldn’t see anything in particular that may have clued scum in that he was PR. So I think it may have just been unfortunate chance - bozo is well respected, so I don’t really find a D1 kill of him to be that unusual.

Something else to consider:

The NEB seems to have a NK at the moment. This can really help save on mislynches. We should remember this. Things like:

If player A makes a claim (like damo) and it puts them out, the NEB can kill them at night and we get a 1 for 1

If player A is scum implies player B is scum, we can daykill A and then NEB can make it a 2 for 1.

If we think the daykill is between a T/S the NEB can clean up the S if we get the T.


Also remember: the NEB *not* doing what we expect communicates back to us. So if they *don't* follow through on NKing someone, we should listen to that; they have more intel than us.
