Hi Jamie

Has today changed your reads at all? I'm feeling a little more lukewarm on HR. Fox/emc still feel solid, and bo has obviously climbed.

If bo is scum, the only interesting thing he's really done all game is try to make Bismarck happen when Rd wasn't taking off. My inclination is that that was to protect one or more of Temasek, Riot, and maybe emc, and that it would probably signify Bismarck is town.

Over in my QT I've been thinking over my case on HR, and he's still definitely scum.

Jamiet - the anti-virus does not kill anyone but the virus, I believe. So it's one bonus, if scum get the right person onboard.

However you're right in regard to the fact that if we eliminate Bunny instead of letting him win, that extra scum shot becomes a matter of when, not if (unless we can get them before they come on). I hadn't really factored that in to my previous analysis

If the ship is gone the scum can’t get a second kill?

Like I just said in my QT, I'm still pretty sure HR is scum.

In particular, all of the following things still stack up, for me:

1. His massive blow-up about the D1 wagon on EMC and the way his EoN reads lists are heavily weighted towards just scumreading anyone who has voted for EMC.

2. The fact that he is adamantly opposed to votes on EMC, to the extent that he has voted for other wagons for the specific purpose of saving EMC, more than once, yet when he gives his townreads he often misses EMC off.

Seriously he's willing to stick his neck out and risk multiple mis-removals to save a person he doesn't even strongly townread? WTF??

3. His super aggressive flashwagon on TheFlyingBoat, which was based on the flimsiest premise (he asked TFB a question about EMC that TFB did not *instantly* answer) and which HR blew up into a big fuss by demanding an answer over and over again and pretending TFB was hiding from him.

4. The way he immediately went from mis-removing TFB to turning all his anger and aggression onto Rdrivera who had been the one person to declare his wagoning of TFB as suspicious and fake.

5. The way he was completely unapologetic about being the leader of both mis-wagons, two days in a row. Look at his posts immediately after both {redact]ings. "Meh" and "Blergh" and then just shrugging his shoulders and moving on.

He is scum.

If the ship is gone there is no risk of a mis-firing Anti-Virus, which is the thing that triggers the bonus scum kill. So, yes that's right.

If you’re town you really really really need to pay attention to the reasons people like myself and ghug have laid out for why we’re getting rid of bunny
No no, I got them. And I was wondering if there was a way to risk it until the anti-virus argument was made. Killing Bunny is the only safe thing to do. But I don't have to go along with it.
So...you acknowledge it’s the correct play but you don’t want to do it cause...why
The absolute correct play is to kill scum. But if we're not doing that, I'm not voting to just hand Bunny his win and then probably lose anyway.

Then why aren't you pushing your top scumread?

Why are you just sulking and complaining about not getting your way, like a spoiled brat?

Is Ghug your #1 scumread? What is your case on him? I have not seen you say anything today about Ghug other than vote for him.

What QT are you talking about? Are you just being snarky because I’ve allowed Nanook to control the intel AFTER you and Ghug lectured me for talking too much?

If he says it’s ok, I’ll say everything here too.

I felt left out so I made a QT for myself.

When did I lecture you for talking too much? I don't recall that.

Aw, I like you too darling.

However I don't like the fact that we're approaching four hours from EoD and *five* players are currently not meeting the voting / participation requirements.

Why are you just sulking and complaining about not getting your way, like a spoiled brat?

Is Ghug your #1 scumread? What is your case on him? I have not seen you say anything today about Ghug other than vote for him.
Spoiled brat? First of all, I'm not complaining about not getting my way—I know I'm not getting my way, and that actually gives me the space to make a vote that doesn't affect the outcome. You all can lose the game whatever I do. Besides, I'm not the one here who's frequently threatening to ragequit games, Jameit, or prone to late night screaming tantrums in which I throw abuse at other people and screech that I better not get a hint of snark in return or—oh, I already mentioned your ragequiting. That's what spoiled looks like.

And you find it frustrating that I make no case on ghug? You want me to do something useful and lead you through my thinking? You think it's important that you understand that for the game's sake? Huh, now do you understand why people were asking you to explain your vote on EMC?

But yes, I think ghug is scum. I have often said that the best place for scum to hide is in plain sight, and he's doing a great job of that. On D1, he flops around a good bit before he ends on Summit, which looks like a great spot to hide out for scum, especially now that we know there were no scum on vanity wagons. He was too slow on the uptake to vote for Demon on D2 despite actually being here, so he left his vote on Chaqa and faked confusion.

On D3, he pushed me and EMC. What were his cases? Fuck if I know. Like you, he confuses aggression and scorn for reason or explanation. But we are two of the easiest pushes to make for a mis-flip. Then he lands on TheFlyingBoat—well after his vote mattered—having barely mentioned him all game. Was it to save HR, whom he was townreading? Then why sit on my wagon by himself while HR was in the lead?

D4 is much the same. He votes me, then piles on Rdrivera at the end, having barely mentioned him the whole game. And look at how he does it: HR asks ghug about Rdr, Ghug says "probably scum" and then feels the need to hedge with "I can never read Rd and we don't have any scum flips so that one's 100% POE."

I think he's done a fantastic job of looking townie, letting town mis-flip repeatedly, and hid in plain sight. How many games have we killed off everyone who "felt off" or was inconsistent or jumpy or didn't have good explanations for some things, and then lost the game to Damo or Worcej or Bunny who were slow and steady, townie looking, and out front?

And the only thing he'll be able to say about this, I bet is "see, it just proves Fox is scum!" Because he's never had a real basis for anything this game.
