I've messaged Hosuke in the Mason chat to arrange a time during Day 3 to prove our claims.

Once Day 3 starts, one of the clears will give us a category (e.g., Shakespeare or Beatles songs or whatever). In the mason chat, we'll select one and post it simultaneously.

The clears should do this as early as possible in the day to give them as much time as possible to choose a convenient time for both to be online together.

To my mind the proposal in itself clears them.

The emc push also could have been a push designed to save Chaqa. I don't think Fox is scum at this point, so at a quick glance that would lead me toward Jamie and Espresso getting that one off the ground.

Only if you believed Hosuke was telling the truth. If he was scum, pressuring as early as possible before they could coordinate how to react was the best strategy.

How sure were you that Hosuke was telling the truth?

Also, it is hard to believe you thought Hosuke was the only real option that long before EOD when the top wagon had only 4 votes. I started a new wagon on Chaqa much later and it got up to 6 votes while I was not online.

Maybe you didn't care that much if your wagon took off or not. I wanted a wagon I could make sure would take off, and the arguments for a Hosuke wagon were good. The arguments for the Chaqa wagon I'm not sure yet what they were, so I couldn't have started a wagon on "this person hasn't done much" if I wanted to push.

Wait, just a bit ago you were telling me that the push on Hosuke came late to insinuate that I had plenty of time to go scumhunting elsewhere instead of defending. Now your story is that it came "as early as possible"???

Because those are points that seemed obvious to me, as well, but he kept pushing ItsHosuke.

I can understand they may seem obvious to you because you knew (presumably) that Hosuke is town. From the point of view of someone who didn't know Hosuke was town, they don't seem obvious at all.

I thought bo's push on rivera was very towny when I read it the first time, I haven't gotten there yet on my reread. I don't like that he hasn't said anything D2 yet but it's the weekend so who knows.

Chaqa is definitely in my lynchpool, and emc as well. Again I wish they would participate more so I could make a more informed decision.

Xorxes, what pushed you toward emc over Chaqa when the vote was tied? You obviously felt you had to move off of ItsHosuke.

That list was from before the mason reveal. emc was not compatible with Fox being scum. Once Fox became town, emc went right back into top 5.

You do not think Foxcastle could have been bussing emc when you thought Foxcastle was scum?

It wasn't impossible, of course, but it didn't seem likely to me, no. Why make such a hard push that would not buy him that much credibility anyway because if emc had flipped scum everyone would have immediately considered the possibility of a bus.

I partly voted EMC out of a mix of pure frustration and policy, and partly to save ItsHotsuke. I also made it clear I was ok with a Chaqa or Xorxes lynch.

Hosuke obviously should not have claimed when he did as town or scum, I think it was a mistake he made as a new player. However, he was much more likely to mistakenly claim his real role as town than mistakenly fake claim a role as scum. However, even if you did not believe Hosuke, there was no reason to push it D2.

Yep I was seeing in scumChaqa would take the opportunity to jump esp if EvC was SvS. I am now townreading Chaqa.

I believe he is the lover too. But he better die with one of the obvious next few kills, or else he becomes a suspect. At least I can take him out of the lynch pool.

A clear on Day 5 is nice. A clear on Day 6 is nicer.

Yes, I'm pretty sure they are telling the truth. It doesn't hurt to get some solid proof though.

Really, lynching me probably isn’t that bad. My role is a bit of a liability for the town anyway and my lynch probably gives us an extra mislynch in the late game.

If you are a town liability, and you thought emc was town, why did you vote for emc to save yourself?
