Neither Xorxes nor Vecna have obvtowned or solved the game for us yet. I'm getting worried.

It's D1, one of them will die tonight, the other tomorrow night. They'll lay some golden eggs for us, give them time

My vote for tonight is $$Jamie. Also, emotional about the lynch Bo? I said they’re both horrible w2agons, and that’s about it. I tried to push Jamie, I actually got a few votes, but was forced to switch because there was no traction, go reread. Fucking Ezio almost got lynched and we were trying to prevent that.

Other than that though the analysis is decent, although most of it can be summarized as people who moved off ezio after his retraction are either scum, or just playing like shit.

Oh yeah, and Ike? Your shitposting isn't half-bad, but it's time to, y'know, play the game.

I forgot about both Percy and worcej this game.

Worcej's play seems like he didn't care at all 24 hours into the game. He drops in with 43 minutes till EoD and casually votes Ezio then dips. I don't like his apathy.

Guess ill just have to prove you wrong again.

So what wagon do you want?
Squigs, Jamie, Percy Williams, worcej, dargorygel, bo_sox would all be OK.
Can you explain the last 4 to me?
The last 4 on this list are those who have posted less, the reasoning being that they have something to hide, instead of presuming they are an unhelpful scourge on humanity.

The more I think about it, I'm quite sure RagingIke is actually scum.

Look how cool and calm Ike was when he was the lead wagon earlier today. Ike is an experienced player. He knows that early D1 pressure or policy wagons rarely last the distance. When he was lead wagon he did nothing to defend himself, he openly broke the rules and allowed attention to be drawn to this, and acted calm and jokey and flippant, not seeming to feel under any pressure.

Scumteams often employ one of their number in the role of noisy, distracting, attention seeker. This fills the thread up with noise and allows the other scum to lurk or keep their distance.

##Vote RagingIke

I know Ike. I've been on Ike's team. I've co-GMed with Ike. Ike enjoys being scum. Ike is calm and happy as scum.

This is scum Ike, folks. Lynch him with me and get town off to the right start.
This is not the type of posts that scum Jamiet makes, is it? Pretty sure he's not this expressive and detailed with his reasoning for why he scumreads people. I sure dont remember him producing stuff that resonates so well with my own feelings on people their playstyle, although maybe thats a stronger argument if its based on gut feelings than meta analysis.
And then Vecna agrees with it...

Never have I disagreed with Jamie or Vecna so much.

Vecna, do you actually believe that Ike's play in drawing attention and being calm and collected is scummy?
I think Ike legitimately didn't look at his role, he can't give himself away if he doesn't know.

This post makes me laugh, I was trying to accumulate early D1 votes for funsies and break a new rule for funsies and Jamie makes me look like a scum mastermind.

He's trying to say that I'm cluttering the thread as the 7th highest poster? Seems pretty far down the totem pole and we've discussed how much I post a day and that d1 falls at the top end of how much I post but it isn't record breaking by any means.

He does know me, he has been on my team, I have co-gm'ed with him, we're friends on Facebook, I do enjoy playing scum, I'm a knower I like knowing things. I am calm and happy as scum becuase I know everything and try to appear like I'm not calm and happy because I'm trying to look solvey.

I've read my Role PM and I can assure you this is not scum Ike, this is I'm going to have a fun time Ike for the first half of D1 and I'm watching March Madness so I'm not going to be on my phone a bunch Ike for thr second half of D1

Seems like a very convincing, yet very fake post from Jamie. Did you roll scum again Jamie? Between your last 3 games being 2 scum and 1 PR I would have assumed you rolled VT this time around

I'm sorry @bo, I was a dick. No excuse

$$Vote Vapor?

I still think he looks scummy but I also feel like I need to just like ignore him for a phase or something cause I'm loosing my goddamn mind right now. The lack of a flip from your vig shot honestly makes me not want to use it... I like having flips, but I genuinely don't know if it would be better to hold it for like a cop peek/mech outed scum or like a mylo lylo desperation play or what. If you're shooting vapor is who I would target. I also don't like darg but I really don't see them both being scum based on how they were interacting earlier, we'll see if they follow through with it I guess?

Also on the fence currently about Moscow, I might reread his posts from last game tomorrow

gnight

this feels very "un-Jamie"
The joke? Or the tone/wording of it...
we're talking about a man who started getting pissed at and pressuring Ike for shitposting on page one

I don't imagine him as the type of guy to make jokes about the gun holder shooting themselves
Who is joking?

Not me.

If the question is, who would I shoot right now if I had a gun, the answer is that I would shoot Ezio. No joke. My legit choice.

However on the subject of firing the Alien Gun tonight or in the morning I would say this:

The Alien Gun should not be fired unless we have a CONFIRMED scum.

By which I mean a CONFIRMED scum as a result of a guilty/M12 result on a cop/security scan declared by a player who has claimed their investigative role/item and has not been cc'ed.

In all other circumstances, since there is no flip, firing the gun would be a move that would provide more utility to scum than to town. It would remove from the game someone who is not necessarily scum, and without providing any additional information to town.

Ezio's willingness to do this is scum motivated.

If Ezio fires the gun without a plausible guilty scan claim, Ezio should be regarded as confirmed scum, and lynched.

Why would you want to lynch the guy whose role we already know on D1? That gives scum the opportunity to do jack fucking shit instead of actually making them do meaningful things.
Its a lot harder to blend for scum on later days though, and the alien will need to be lynched somewhat early regardless. Why does it matter exactly what day scum just get to "vote the alien"?

think I'm 45 % okayish with my vote on dargoyle, he had 1 post that felt fake af and it triggered me tremendously

Don't touch e.m.c or else!

leave Ezio alive for today, you filthy scumbos! Let his DNA be screen so that we have it on paper that he's of alien descent.

someone tell me to vote damo cause I leave in 2-3 minutes
This post is such a clash with vapor's other styles. It confuses the shit outa me.

Lol, wut? You don't think town Ike would draw attention to himself? You don't think Ike would be calm and collected as town? Like, yeah, he could be scum trying to distract, but this read seems like you trying to justify a vote on Ike rather than actual solving.
I think that Town Ike would have defended himself when he was the lead wagon, which in this case he absolutely did not do.
Come on man, I agree with your conclusion but honestly, no one defends themselves in the first 24 hours of D1.

You are tunneling hard
Even though I see what you see, why tell someone off when theyre finding reasons to lynch someone that youre also scumreading? Thats what your saying here right?

Also of the little posts that Neph made, I do not really get why he chose this of all things to comment on.

I am contributing. I have a number of reads that are informing my opinion as to what the best course of action is today. What have you done so far today?
Where did you post these reads?
I haven't. Do people generally post their reads? I know I haven't played mafia in a little while but I always thought that posting reads was a waste of time that could be spent building cases, rereading, or otherwise putting pieces of the puzzle together.

Would you mind answering my question? I haven't read the vast majority of the thread, so while part of me is trying to sort out what you could have done that justifies your high horse mentality in the middle of day 1, I'm also genuinely curious.
Even though my meta on bo is extremely foggy, this does seem like the usual "I dont give a fuck about this game or all of you town attitude". Does anyone remember if he turned up scum or town in those more recent games he was tryharding and wallposting?
