Re: M76 - Dungeons and Dragons - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
I dont see why this setup would be more fun for mafia. The ability to have a special team building night where its a Upick for them is probably a fun moment of bonding. Other than that I cant envision any reason why their roles are more exciting or are so overpowered that itll be “more fun” than being town
Well, I grew up in the fallout from the riots in the '90s
Static cranes stand lifeless, castin' shadows on the town
I stare out that hallowed ocean as if to pick a fight
For thе dreams my old man dreamt for me lay on thе other side, yeah

Re: M76 - Dungeons and Dragons - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
meaning bozo continues to larp as a polling company
Re: M76 - Dungeons and Dragons - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
meh lol i want to say this is town given it's coming before she's gotten any serious pressurePrincess Neon wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 10:56 amWant it More. I call it Will and Motivation but WiM is the term most people use. Basically how hard you care about the game or whatever. I'm not saying I'm going to throw I'm saying I have no faith in myself to make the right decisions right now because of recent experiences and so my drive for mafia is low and my self image within the context of the game is low.
i have gotten through an entire game moping and AtEing as mafia when i had literally nothing else but looking at her other game on here that people were talking about i don't think it's the approach she chooses to take

general is bs, talk about the specifics of the people here and now. this stuff from you has been meaningless and not contributed to our understanding of anyonewolfu wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 2:02 pmokay i'm just speaking in generalized archetypesPrincess Neon wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 1:45 pmI recently refused to kill a friend of mine Minish while she was focusing on mech without much solve, talked town out of it 3 days in a row game set up with a lot of mech to look into. I kill players for focusing on mech without much solve a lot. And I keep a lot of statistics as well. I will just say that in my experience it's 62% of the time scum. And I'm always willing to take that chance.
Recent game experiences tell me I'll be wrong no matter what I do though.
i get where you're coming from though, have subscribed to that view myself in the past, still getting a view of things myself so no conclusive reads but wanted to offer a counterpoint
Re: M76 - Dungeons and Dragons - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
just like, that whole exercise gets them to strategize and then they work on how to use those roles to counter town, they have a lot more openness to their approach and can figure out their own strategy, the town roles are fairly weak imobrainbomb wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 2:17 pmI dont see why this setup would be more fun for mafia. Re: M76 - Dungeons and Dragons - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
bozo has not seemed especially reactive to mebrainbomb wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 2:06 pmthe dichotomy here between neon and wolfu is interesting
wolfu taking the stances that surveys in light games on other forums are more often town indicstive behaviors which ignores that bozo does a survey every game no matter what his alignment is. this is not a bad thing on wolfu but shows a lack of meta on bozo and that he shouldnt be given any kind of pass for making a survey since he makes a survey every game no matter the game size or his align.
and then theres neon who keeps pushing this angle despite several people telling her this is not wolfy of bozo and this is his shtick. Choosing to lean on personal experience that when players focus on mech they tend to be wolves.
neon didnt dargorygel basically spend most of his posts focused on mech? why is bozo worse or better?
and then wolfu is starting to seem a bit strained and reaching just a tad when trying to continue to concoct reasons for why bozo is town. the push on Tom, claiming someone voting tom was a busser. then bozo votes a bunch of zero posters. town bozo is a rock and is very non reactive from what I recall. I remember games screaming at him in all caps and getting no reply when he was town. he just doesnt care usually what people think and once he thinks someone is scum he tends to stand by that beleif.
thats why its very weird to see such a performative reactive and bizarre bozo here. he doesnt usually do any of the things he does other than his habitual need to use gallup polling services.
tldr: I can absolutely see wolfu and neon are town taking opposing stances. What I cannot see as clearly is a world where this bozo is a town clown

Re: M76 - Dungeons and Dragons - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
bona, im referring to when bozo unvoted tom after saying tom was being bussed
and then bozo proceeds to vote non posters, and says he probably got a scum in doing so.
that felt reactive, and agitated. that to me looks odd for bozo to do. It was impulsed by being pushed from neon. that is where is stems from.
thoughts?

i forgot about that bit of votes and all. im not clear on what he was reacting to, though? like what drove him to do that? idt just the unvote explains it, but it does like, set it upbrainbomb wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 2:25 pmbona, im referring to when bozo unvoted tom after saying tom was being bussed

not sure if this will get answered but what exactly do you like about it and why would you vote for a non participant?damo666 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 11:23 amCaught up. Didn't understand about half the posts as I don't get the game references but no matter.
Why was brain being Gollum?
I like Bozo's survey. My vote will be confined to non participants unless there is a 100% response.
I will give my response in next post.
Re: M76 - Dungeons and Dragons - Game Thread [HIDDEN]
yes okay neon just a townie moving onPrincess Neon wrote: ↑Wed Sep 14, 2022 11:44 amHow likely do you think it is that anyone who thinks the poll is a waste of time and doesn't participate is woof?
What's the point as a woof I can just participate and lie about every role I would pick and not draw this attention to myself. People reading into this poll will live in my scum pile.
