If the gov power was already used, then UB should definitely claim, right? So we know we don't have to worry about it?
I don't agree with this:

1. I think it's quite unlikely it has been used and we don't know about that, and
2. In that case, declaring it just helps the scum identify the remaining useful PRs.

Oh, also if they're scum then they'd probably just lie about having used it. Duh.

Because it would need to have been used on a target who then garnered no votes on the relevant day, otherwise the GM would have made it clear in the final VC that the power had been used. How likely is it that the UB Governor would use their one-shot power on someone who was unlikely to be a wagon?

Oh, also duh. I forgot that it would be obvious even if the person who was targeted wasn't the leading wagon at EOD.

I'm going to go back to staying out of mechs discussions.

Yes, but if the lie and power is used today we have a confirmed scum, maybe two. The risk is the power be used on lylo.

Yes, even if it was used on someone who went on to be an insignificant 1-vote wagon, the GM would still show that person as having 0 votes at EoD, which would indicate the Governor had acted.

I really feel like Macca is not the answer here. Still a solid townread.

The only thing really giving me pause on kgray at this point is that she was a plausible Maniac target, but that really just means scum have a faith healer if she is scum, so I'm ok with her as a wagon.

Bunny and Seth have been coasting long enough that I can't townread either in good conscience anymore.
Thank.

What has Macca actually done besides continuously pretending/showing they have no clue about the mechanics of the game? And every time after called out they do the "oh I did somethign silly again"? And instead of figuring out what it is, they wait for people to point it out.

If you really would feel embarassed about it, you'd try to fix it after the first time, no? Not double down and bank on it completely?
I wait because I don't understand. The first couple of times I tried to work out what I'd said that was incorrect, and I got it wrong. And the way people respond with "Townslip?" rather than "there are 4 mafia, not 5", make it difficult for me to work things out.

Yeah... I'm beginning to get that vibe.

##VOTE kgray
Why though? You just listed your top scumreads as Seth, Bunny, kgray, chaqa, and ghug but said I was last on your list. How did that suddenly change?
You and ghug were close, but you were the only viable wagon at that point.

really? You remembered ghug talking about that?

For someone thats apparently not aware of the setup, has very few posts, how does Macca know Ghug made that statement at some point? I sure didnt (remember).
I assume these questions are directed at me?

I know because I read it, then replied, pulling it back to the top. A page or two later kgray made this post.
Yeah, I just went and reread it....

-Your first post of today, you respond to Ghug saying hi to you in real time
-Your second post, a minute later, you suddenly quote a post from Ghug that happened more than a day earlier
Your third post of today, again a minute later, you interact with a post I made in real time.

So.....in a time frame of three minutes, you respond to two "live posts" and that weird post from ghug (that was made 24h earlier or more) in between those posts.

Then two pages later, Kgray responds to that post in particular, and you have this reply that is once again meant to just show how clueless you are of scum nightkills.

This just feels like compelling evidence to me that the two of you are scum together. And that this was planned.
No.

I always respond to my posts at once.

When I catch up, I read the thread and pop open replies to things in new tabs. Then, once I've fully caught up, I write all my replies and send them at once. This ensures I don't ask questions that get answered 1 page later, or other things like that. It's something I've always done, in this game and my others. You can go check.

I have one question for if we make the governor claim.

##CALLGM If the Governor gets killed during the night they used their power, does that power still function the next day?

Are you that confident about the governor thing?
No, I am not, but do you think it's worth the risk?
I feel like it's fine as long as we set up a decent backup wagon.
not how it works, i think?

##call gm: if the night governor target is daykilled, will it result in no kill or will the second highest wagon die?
