I didn't like the xorxes/einstein conversation. Not only because it was too long. But because it still seems like emc is not revealing everything.

He might just be playing his cards close to his chest. Like a PR would.

But he hasn't told us openly, now that he has 'claimed,' everthing about his old or new hats. (for instance, what is revealed about the dead guy (donny) when he flips? How was donny chosen? WHY was donny chosen? At want point (if at all) did einstein say, "i wanna absorb donny?' was it when emc still scumread donny so loudly? etc.)

So I'd still like to see what he is.

He did answer all of that: he claims he was forced to take the identity of the first person who died, he had no choice in the matter. He claims Donny was town Tracker.

@emc: You probably answered this but I'm not sure what the final answer is: Do you claim to know for certain that Chaqa is town, or do you assume he is town based on reads/likelyhood? My impression is that you gave conflicting answers about this, but I don't have a lot of time now to search.

If someone has the time to explore what emc said about this I'd be grateful. If not I will do it later when/if I have more time.

In other words, he claims that whatever happened, we would never be told what the role/alignment of the first death was, unless he himself was the first one to die. The setup was rigged so that D1 would be almost certainly uninformative.

No. I was doing other things yesterday and am a mere 23 pages behind today. Processing mechanics is not really anything I enjoy or am good at, so lower your expectations.

If not, why did you tell emc that you *rercruited* him?

Not saying it is AI. But I expected bozo to have a lot more mech-talk. He seems to be mostly almost gut feeling things.

Shortly after this, Bozo says he thinks Dargo hasn't done much hunting. Is it in response? A little defensive, which doesn't seem like Bozo.

What gut feeling has bozo shared this game?

I'm reading his scum deduction list that way.ostly because he provides no real bozo data for his townies.

I could get into why I think certain players are likely town, but I doubt anyone would care.

I have received additional information that is not available to the playerbase at large. After reviewing the information several times, I strongly conclude that emc is likely town - at least 66/33. Previously, I had claimed Donny was 51/49 scum; this sort of small-detail-becomes-mislynch is not at all unusual here (I fondly remember town mislynching Vaporwave for telling you we [scum] roleblocked him). In addition, I note that xorxes' continued inquisition against emc is based on incredibly poor thinking, which is out of character for xorxes, and xorxes is likely scum who has realized emc is tracker and wants to drive the mislynch. This makes me even more confident emc is town tracker; emc is probably scum only as often as an elf discovers a secret door merely by passing within 10 feet of it, or 1-in-6.

I will not reveal any additional details about this information unless it becomes strictly necessary - although I can say that it does not allow me to know an alignment or role with perfect certainty. Nonetheless, I believe it is valuable to keep the details of this hidden from scum, as the relevant ability is not one-shot. However, I believe that, for today, it would be very wise not to lynch emc. My assessment could still be wrong, even though I have great confidence the odds are in emc's favour as town.

Furthermore, irrespective of this secret information, it is absolutely astonishing the level of illogic that xorxes used last night to condemn emc. I actually got so frustrated that I self-voted and closed the game. xorxes is normally the model of careful consideration, but in this issue he has absolutely no explanation for why scum!emc would claim this complicated story at all, to Chaqa in the alleged QT or here in the main thread. scum!emc would just say... "I'm town. Don't want to reveal my role yet." Instead, emc has a story of holding a 3P role that is very unfamiliar to the playerbase here, that does something odd that doesn't even really look like a 3P role in some views. And xorxes is like the Native Americans who can't see Columbus's ships! He just cannot believe it... and therefore it must have been invented and be fake! And emc be scum! xorxes is not even able to grapple with this notion of motivation which is so, so important when understanding why scum do things. I believe it is because emc's story is pretty wild and hard to understand... and scum!xorxes wants to use that to kill the tracker.

I strongly urge town not to force me to reveal more information. Get a different wagon going. Do not lynch emc to determine if we were wrong about Donny!!! I have information about emc that very strongly points to emc now being town tracker.

I may be wrong but I would not be putting together even this admittedly hazy explanation unless I was confident that this is the right move for town. I will say again there's an outside chance I could be wrong, but it is marginal and it would be foolish, completely foolish, to go ahead with what is very very likely a mislynch.

I think they're also the kind of players who would actually come up with a crazy-stupid plan to do just that. Specifically, I think EMC would generate that plan and Chaqa could go along with it. During signups for M54, I joked I was going to write slashfic about him, and he proposed we make it a bit throughout the game. So I do think he's in it for the LOLs.

So as much as I think it's unlikely, I don't think it can be totally written off.
