Why would town care less about being lynched than scum?

because villagers are actually hunting, or at least they're supposed to be

wolves literally care about nothing besides surviving, that is their main goal. It's why you see players like jamie, dt, bb, and me, not flaming or being as grating compared to the rest of you if we rand a wolf because we're aware people don't like us if we spit truth

In this recent post you said it's true of people who go "against the grain" and in the previous one you said "town tend to", which usually means "most town" tend to, and not "a small subset", which "against the grain" tends to refer to.

but wolves do care MORE about it since in base form that is their most important desire, they don't especially have to worry about finding other wolves

looks like you're trying to approach mafia for the first time so I'll explain it real simple like

at some point, a player is likely to not have a consensus opinion in a game

shocker, some people think for themselves instead of sheeping others. The players I listed are ones that OFTEN go against the grain/cause discourse, and thus are even better examples of what I'm talking about then the average player

now I hope you're enjoying talking about mechanics and basic game theory as an attempt to make it look like you're contributing a lot to the game because it's quite literally fooling nobody. Also shockingly right as I mention town get angrier and get into pissing contests more often then wolves, you seem to get very angry at people for quite literally no reason

Moscow. I could apply that reasoning to every poster with volume in the game. They post a lot but have very little substance. CF, brain, LQ, ND, Jamie, emc etc etc

Yess - you are my only scumread. Who cares. The best way for me (and I would argue most people) is to find your townies and use POE. It’s how I’ve always had success, and how that will continue. Once we have some flips it becomes more impactful to search for scum with that information. Right now with no info, it’s much easier to find those who are town and attacking the game from a town mindset
