Tom Bombadil and Dargo are fucking legends

Holy fucking shit I've never been in a cop game where the cop literally didn't have to do anything to win. I almost feel embarassed about doing absolutely nothing and winning but wow that is some crazy performances

Dargo, what a fucking sick kill on moscow who was widely town read and xorxes. incredible.

Tom, how were you that sure about Jamie and brainbomb?

also, props to quas,vecna,ghug for being obvtown so i didn't have to waste my scans on them at all

yeah, i felt powerless. but it was the good kind of powerless.

GG everyone. GG scum team. Tom and dargo ran way too hot. too hot for the rest of townies even, imo

The way Tom and Dargo played there is nothing scum can do about it.
Brain, Jamiet and Xorxes isn't a great combination too, specially because Jamiet and Xorxes were already scum together last month.

It worked so well because of strong play from Tom and darg. You witnessed it working the absolute best possible instead of the most likelihood of it never killing anyone but themselves.

Yeah. Desperado was strong until it wasn't. Tom's play is something that usually never happens because of a lot of risks. Heck, if I cc there, he might be the one that gets lynched? or get me -- the real cop -- lynched?

I feel like he took the right amount of risk and read jamie and brain incredibly well.

prolly remove one town PR, there's just too many and too strong ones. Compare it to something like d6 and this looks BUSTED

compare it to a d6 and scale up a little but you still get

town getting the absolute strongest variants of the roles

while wolves mostly get nerfed versions of roles

pretty townsided, not to detract from tom and darg who merced some motherfuckers hard, in fact town overall played VERY well

even without the darg big play I STILL think town would have stomped here

I'd argue it's not "most likely" they kill nobody but themselves. Obviously you holster until you're damn sure of a read. If there was a weaker cop in the game ( like only every other day) it's def more balanced.
You also do need to weigh in the optimal case of this one PR can literally win the game for town when comparing the downside/average case.

Ah well. No level of balanced setup could have saved scum this game. Tom/Darg too stronk.

Well, I at least succeeded to get the real doc to CC with my fake claim. I thought that if I am going to die I could get something for my scum team AND if I was really lucky I would even be able to survive this EoD. But I did not expect the real cop to scan such an insignificant lurker as I though. :eyeroll:

Bozo was.

I was trying to give Town something that would be respected as powerful to make scum play a little cautiously. I think if darg, tom, or DT made any different choices, this game had the chance to be a landside win against town.

If I could do it over, I would have done an SK instead, but you live and learn and I’ll be better next time :)

Ah if like in the QT you forced the desperato to shoot with frequency I absolutely agree the role needs to clear the targeted person. As is, simply waiting on your shots is too powerful.

I mean yeah ofc if the PRs UNIVERSALLY all played bad AND the town fucked it wolves could have rolled

but there is just too many clears for town, and wolves just don't have any good counterplay

when a GF is known to be in a game it's really not that much stronger then a VT, and in a lot of cases (like this game) it isn't stronger at ALL

the role oracle is an incredibly nerfed role cop, which just should have been a role cop tbh

the roleblocker was good

but just in a 1 to 1 matchup of PRs look how far behind scum are, Doc and RBer are fairly aight matchups, and oracle and vengeful are about matched, but an entire Cop vs. GF is super favorable to town and then they also get a desperado thrown in for free

just straight remove desperado and game is still prolly slightly town sided imo
