Just figured out who the cop is, I see what you see sweet. Not sure if this makes you town or not.
##VOTE VECNA
Hmmmmm.

That went from:

"I don't know what day of the week it is, who is dead and what is happening?"

to:

"I've totally got it and I know who the Cop is"

very, very quickly.

Oho!

I think I see what you see.

He arrives, immediately knows there are lots of votes on Vecna possibly due to a guilty scan, and knows that you and Sweet are talking about scans.

Then 10 minutes later, he claims he doesn't know who was killed.

Performative ignorance?

I was asking for the basic run-down of what was going on because I hadn't yet logged on D5. I knew what was immediately going on because I saw what was being discussed in the last few posts:

probably just my luck again to draw miller in a game that coincides with plenty of off days.

Also note: in the case I *am* the cop I did see and believe that sweet saw my crumbs. I may have lied about my hypo scans knowing he’d correct the record. Hypothetically of course.
Also bunny, since im noting you were roleblocked: this post of yours is leading people down the wrong path. Youre actively letting the ambiguity live.

Im not sure what is actually happening, but dont forget the possibility that If scum thought it was either you or sparta and they did see some stuff that couldve been crumbs, this could very well be their follow-up plan to secure a misskill.
I’m doing my best to protect the cop (possibly me!) while not publicly disputing sweet’s claim.

Case 1: I am the cop. In this case I do so publicly declare that I crumbed my scans. That they were different than my hyposcans. That I did this because sweet convinced me he accurately saw them. So I wanted to bait scum into not killing me last night. Apparently my “scans” were still accurate enough that they RB me…so that’s amusing.

As sweet is accurately representing my scans, I see no need to publicly declare myself and contradict him. I just need to decide if you’re the miller.

Case 2: I’m not the cop. I have no reason to declare anything. If I’ve seen the crumbs I agree with sweet, if I haven’t then I have nothing to add. Either way I have no mechanical reason to contradict snything. And you were only town read by me because of statements and actions day 1. I needed to revisit you anyways.

At this point your responses, and attempt to bait me to give something up suggest that I have no reason to do anything but ##vote Vecna.
So I concluded that vecna was scanned guilty from the post about the miller, and skimmed that bunny might or might not be claiming to be the cop from his large post.

Also, I am not going to respond to the stuff about me figuring out who the cop is, for obvious reasons.

Family car just utterly died. Just about the worst timing possible.

I'll be busy trying to deal with this crisis, so I am telling you all that I may become relatively absent for a little while.

Who knows, I might post just about as much as a form of stress relief, we'll see.

The main point is that I hope you all will treat any absence as NAI.

I'll ask for a sub if I need it, but currently I don't think that will be necessary.

The way he asked his questions assumed there had been a RB. Now that I type that out, I'm probably reading in to it too much.

I do think sweet has done town a favour. My simpleton take is this: if vecna flips mafia, then good. If vecna doesn't, then sweet is automatically up next.

I also go back to my very simplistic take that on every wagon, there have been two consistent players: sweet and king.
catching up after a very nice sleep last night (damn 12 hours... I really am sleep deprived during the week lmao). I thought I posted this before, but I guess I closed the tab: I don't quite get what you are trying to imply when you say that sweet and I have been on every wagon. I also don't know where you saw me on the D3 wagon. could you explain your logic of the every wagon bit? does that imply scum or town? we've gone 1 for 3 with mafia hits (since d2 was tied), which, in a vacuum, is pretty good ratio wise.
Hey, good catch. That was my mistake. I think I either misread the Final Vote post from Chaqa or wasn't paying attention. So that nulls my argument on you.

I wouldn't get too caught up in celebrating "we got scum 1 for 3." Any busser would rightfully claim a level of gratification. Hitting mafia that early has also ossified us, but your point is taken.

My simple take is that mafia will always be on a lead miskill to ensure it happens.

Bona and Vecna, why sweet? In light of sweet's claim, you're opting to go counter to it. Why?

If this wasn't happening, who would you be in for putting up today?

If we're not going to end I think we should play the "I was cop and I scanned..." game again.

Making us 7 vs 3.

Not great for town. See? Killing mafia D1 just runs us ragged.

Agreed, it's gotten kind of boring. Would have been fun to see the flip and whether it's Miller or Mafia, and then we would be seeing the NK tomorrow.

Instead we'll just have to wait ):
