The amount of 'site resources' to keep this game up isnt that much, and if it really is something THAT significant, I lowkey will just pay the amount, it cant be that much my goodness

Hmm...

Now the question remains, is it possible, in any variant, to prune it down to 0 units? :D

You could do it if build phases were slightly less common:
Spring: A takes B’s last two SCs
Autumn: B dislodges one of A’s units, which disbands.
Autumn 2: B dislodges the other of A’s units, which disbands.
Winter: B has no SCs, so disbands their two units. A has no home SCs, and no units.

But I can’t see how you’d do it in the normal rules.

If you diestroy the enemies armies, they cannot take your last centers. It is impossible to reach 0 unit, even if the build phases are less common.

Since nothing can change, the game should be ended, but not cancelled. It is something very unique. It's a pity you haven't take care of this Turkish army.
is it even possible to destroy every unit on the board?

If it would be possible, we would have done it. ;-)

Nice move by Turkey in 1956. I don't think Russia saw that coming.

This is so god damn amazing. I’m so confused on how this happened- how do you kill all the units but 1? What????? Also what is this pacifist game you guys speak of? Is it just a “don’t fight each other” or more of this amazing crazy nonsense? Man I love diplomacy.

The craziest part is it started before I turned 18 so it has encompassed literally my entire adult life.
