Re: Mafia 45 - Signup Thread

I just got unbanned today, but the banishment was that I wasn't allowed to join or create new games Why were you banned? (And why are moderators and site admins apparently oblivious to this, just wondering..... I blame that sneaky and underhand JMO.....) Not oblivious, I know about it and if I didn...

Re: Backstabbing vs Sportsmanship

I kinda do agree though that giving up on a game, well there are reasons for it. There really are some circumstances where at which point are you just stalling the game for no reason. Take my world game, for example, all I own is Africa, minus the northern and western portion of it. My only ally own...

Re: hI

Dudes, I got banned for multi, and I cleared it up with the mods, appealing isn't that hard, but to complain about it on the forums just isn't the place. Regardless of how right/wrong you are.

Re: New Menu

Hello! With the new menu, when I click on a game, it has no 'Board' option. I know this is a small convenience, that really doesn't need to be there. But it was nice to easily click to update the page.

Re: World War I

Naval dominance? The Royal Navy hadn't fought a significant engagement since Trafalgar. We had a lot of shiny boats crewed by a lot of shiny sailors skilled in the art of keeping everything shiny at all times. We couldn't fight for toffee. When the Germans, with all the seafaring pedigree of Swiss ...

Re: World War I

You kidding me...? Britain had just resecured naval dominance over everyone, Germany was breaking at the seams, the war is what stopped that.

Re: World War I

Speaking from a purely selfish perspective, Britain's entry into the war was part of an important series of events without which I would not exist. So, huzzah for the war! Yea I just thought of it from another perspective... If we take my point as fact, that if Britain didn't enter the war, their e...

Re: World War I

There must be easier ways of deciding a way to avoid a civil war. Like giving concessions, so the less radical ones would cave in, and the more radical ones could be stamped out. Also yes, it was a great discussion, I'm about to have this same debate with my friend when we come back from Spring Brea...

Here is his quote: "We are not here to talk about the origins of the first world war, not to talk about who's to blame, not if we should have hung the Kaiser, not to talk about the Versaille treaty and how it laid the foundations for the 2nd world war, no alternative history prior to 1914, ~~~ we ar...

Re: World War I

Also, the moderator, in the beginning, most certainly said that we should not involve ourselves in what could of beens, and simply talk about was it all worth it? As I think the man named Dominic said, was what we got really the best choice, was there no better alternative...? If a long war was goin...

Re: World War I

@osric 1) Germany passing through Belgium didn't need to turn into a permanent occupation. 2) Unforeseen consequences...? The majority of the cabinet knew how bad it would end up. 1) Germany moving through Belgium was the breaking of a treaty with England. This stuff starts wars all through history...

World War I is the map of the Classic Map. What are your guy's thoughts on it...? About the war of course. Something a little more controversial, in my opinion, England should never have entered the war... Here's the video that changed my mind about the subject, which would articulate the point bet...

I genuinely don't know what the issue is with what were doing. I feel that all those against our protest haven't had the whole story told to them. I personally have not broken any of the site rules and neither have any of our 3 friends who have been banned so far. AlexNoggle@yahoo.com was just a en...
