Pace of game with bots

Hi, I'm newbie, just starting out and wondering what's the pace of the game with bots with press on? I've started a game and I got some messages from bots (and replied to them), but all other players are still not 'ready'.

How long will it take them actually to become ready? Trying to understand the pace of the game. I expected it to be similar to the 'press off' mode but now it seems like it's significantly slower with the press.
