It means that the nation of that player went into Civil Disorder and the game ended before the player was either defeated or replaced.

I’ve noticed that sometimes people resign from games where it might have been appropriate for them to have been shown as “left”. Can somebody explain what a resignation actually means on this site please? Thanks
