You may have better luck using the "Start a New Game" function under the "Games" tab, creating your own Modern Diplomacy II game to your preferred specifications, then posting a link here for others to join.

Consider picking a title that makes it clear this is a noob game. Don't set the bet size too high or other inexperienced players won't be able to join. Don't write an invite code or password - this way, anyone can join.
