Hey guys, I was fortunate enough to be able to play The Rumble Down Under last year and I thought it would be cool to set up another game full of Aus/NZ players!

Happy to run it similar to last time (2 day phases, classic, DSS) or we can mix it up if people are keen for something else.

Additionally it would be awesome if we can get enough interest for a live Rumble Down Under as well. It was discussed last time but I don't believe it ended up getting off the ground.

If you are an Aus/NZ player who is interested please reply to the thread and let me know what your preferred game would be. If we can get enough takers we can work out the details in this thread.
hey, beeing locked 12 hs away, I can also play :) Would you put me in?

It was fun!
I would normally be very keen to participate again - but right now I'm currently in two Online Diplomacy Championship Round 2 games with a view of trying to have an Aussie on the final board in that tournament (I think we have Osric as our other possibility there).
But there are lots of other aussie's on this site - so I hope you find a few more.

The original rumble was set up last year by Napoleon of Oz and ran in January. The settings were:
Classic, Draw size scoring 2 day turns

It was great because we were all in the right time zone.

What was the previous ruleset?
I presume he just means settings. DSS, Classic, non-anon, etc. Might be wrong though.

A live game in the holidays would be as achievable for me as on a weekend, it depends what day and when it is. So still a maybe.

What was the previous ruleset?

Ok so far we have:

48 Hours phase:
1. JRoz
2. BobMcBob
3. Kitsune
4. Wusti
5. Calmar

I'm happy to start this game as soon as we get two more Aus/NZ players in. I'm assuming everyone is happy to the ruleset that was used in the previous Rumble Down Under?

Live:
1. JRoz
2. BobMcBob(?)
3. Bartogian

We might have to hold the live game off until the Christmas/holiday period so people have a bit more free time.

I’m in but I would struggle with committing to a live one

I might be able to do live on a weekend. Other than that, I couldn't do live.

I'd enjoy that too.

I don't think I can do live (I never have that kind of time) but I'd enjoy playing it. Currently I have a gunboat that's eating up ALL my points, but if I can afford the admission then count me in!

I'd be up for an all-Australian/NZ game, depending on when it starts. I'm not the greatest at diplomacy, but I should be able to manage it. I'm happy with those game settings, and I'd defintely want to keep it DSS.
